I hate doing this as much as I hate reading other people's ‘I want a…’ threads but I figured it might be a great way to try to find what I’m looking for and after 3 months of looking its time to ask. Also I put this in the South East section because I am in the Tampa area and would prefer to find a semi local car.



I am looking for a 93 and up rx7 (fd3s). I would like the motor and trans to be strong of course like everyone else. The body can be a little ruff, I’m not afraid of frame damage but I can’t bring myself to buy or drive a bio hazard car. Because I’m not looking for a beautiful sexy bodied FD my price range is low.

I'm a hour south of Tampa, and have a 93 red/tan manual,clear title,blown motor.91,000 miles. All stock. Also have rebuilt twins 5,000 miles. Interior is in good shape, not rips or tears in the leather, one small cut in the headliner, other that it's good. Needs floormats. Exterior needs a new rear bumper, which i can get one for $100. and needs a new muffler, and a paint job. Mechanic thinks that the stock exhaust ( rusty) collected the rich fumes in the muffler and car back fired and ignited the muffler which burned up the rear bumper only. Might have something to do when the engine blew. Tail lights are fine, just need new bumper skin, perfect time to put on a body kit, and get it painted. Looking to get $8000. With the price of a new engine and paint would bring this car to what they sell for. Plus you would have a engine that you broke in and modified the way you want, and brand new paint. I understand you already have a engine, but that's how I based the price.I might be asking alittle to much,but i have plans for this car, and don't have to take a loss on it.Only selling to rebuild my motor and put a single turbo in my 93 silver rx7. These cars are rare, and you can't just go pick one out on a lot.
