Good god! That thing is fawkin money. Hope it gets a good home. I would keep it, sell the stereo, who needs a stereo? Just keep the cd deck and stock stereo.
That is a nice RX-7. Well taken care of it seems. Minus the blown engine. Good luck

damn... it even has the front lip on it still... Those are volk rims? i don't recognize them, they look like SSR integral A2s.
damn that is one hot car... What is the mileage on the chassis. What about other basic things on the car other then mods. How's hte tranny? ABS leak? interior rips/cracks/creaks?
jim u need to keep this car... make it your daily driver and save your other for lap day.
I hope the hyrbid turbo is ok... if hte engine took a ****, then the turbo may have ate a seal.

As far as I can tell the engine is not blown.
It seems the "noise" my friend was hearing was his air pump taking a giant dump. The car runs and idles fine. LOL!
I am ordering a block off plate and pulling the emmisions next week. It needs a lot of brake work so it cannot be driven yet.
I suspect the turbo might have blown an oil seal it was a Majestic Hybrid T-04E and they are know (from what I am told) for taking dumps. I will probably send it back out for another rebuild if thats the case.
So, for right now its a good running car that just needs lots of TLC. I am trying to figure out a way to keep it but I will probably sell it.
