Fs: Wrecked '87 Tii In Cinci, Oh...$800
#1
Quick Info:
'87 Turbo II
160,718 miles
Black exterior
Grey interior
2 seat w/ storage bins
Manual Steering
A/C
Sunroof
Car is in Cincinnati, Ohio
Story Time:
I bought this car in January with plans to strip it and do a T2 conversion. The lady I bought it from had slid head on into a fire hydrant. The accident took out the bumper, bumper support, hood, and cracked the radiator.
The car still runs and starts fine, it fired up on the first try the other day when I checked in on it. I've driven it a couple times (short distances so it wouldn't overheat) and it runs and shifts good, no grinding going into 2nd or 3rd gear at all.
I've never checked the engine compression because 1) I don't have a tester and 2) I didn't care because I had planned on sending it to Rotary Resurrection for a fresh rebuild, streetport, and S5 rotors before I threw it in my vert. The car has 160,718 miles, I don't know of too many original T2 motors with that kinda mileage so I'm guessing it might have been rebuilt/replaced at some point, but don't hold me to that, I don't know the history of the car.
The interior is in decent condition, not the best or worse I've seen. The only things missing from the car are the shift ****, center console, and taillights. Other than that it's a perfect donor car for a complete turbo conversion (minus the wrecked hood).
I've given up on it because I have too much on my plate right now with other projects and trying to get back into school. I'd like to try and get rid of it as soon as possible, the car has been in storage for a couple months, and the money I use for storage rent could be better spent.
I do have a title for the car, and pics as well. E-mail me at Lodivigo22@aol.com if you're interested, leave your e-mail address for pics, thanks.
