yeh, i kno of ludespeed, and how none of their kits are around ne more. turbo mark of new jersey put down 252whp and 245tq, and then you have myprobeisfaster who just turboed his ze and trapped at 108, yet he hasnt gotten it fully tuned and dynoed yet.



a stock rx-7 has what 250hp at the crank to start with? no **** its faster, it also cost you an extra 13k, i never said a rx-7 was slow, all i said was i feel that if your car isnt in the 12s, then its not that fast. shoot compared to my car, yes its fast, but i drive a probe, and ive only put 2-3k in it.





there is a twin turbo hayabusa, ive seen the video of the hayabusa gettin beat, there is also one gettin beat by a skyline, and i mean it gets raped. check www.exvitermini.com, but again those cars that beat it are very special, and have more in the engine then i want to imagine.

harrison, i thought u had the blue probe in jadecrew? mikal sold his probe to, heard he was gettin a wrx. i think at one time i was interseted in buying your car have you seen kenny hynes probes, its simply amazing, the whole drivetrain, well the whole everything is chromed, and its supercharged, and its got some crazy doors.

 

You do realize a "stock" (as you so insistingly apply) weight of a 3rd generation rx7 is 2700lbs. And with a simple downpipe the rx7 is capable of 12's. Hell up the boost a little and its capable of 12's. And thats free. So dont try to compare a probe to a 3rd gen rx7, they are apples and oranges.

I saw that coming, and normally i would agree. But this isnt simply argueing over the internet. This is defending the RX-7 and common sense against a ricer driving a probe. And this isnt just a lil supra vs rx-7 or turbo vs supercharging debate, this is virtually the nopistons board against lil probe riceboy.

 

My head hurts, did someone actually sign up to defend the probe? That's kind of funny, cool and sad all at the same time... so many emotions.



Does the probe have cupholders? Man that would be a deal sealer

 

umm, rx-7s are better, thats a no brainer, they also cost more, that to is a no brainer. so how are you defending an rx-7 vs. a probe? how am i defending probes now? the only thing being argued about is 13sec cars dont really impress me.



u hit 12s on a stock rx-7,,, thats a bit much now.

if you find one post of me saying that a 3rd gen rx-7 isnt my car of choice, and that i would never want to own one, then ill never post again. a probe is no where near a rx-7, like the one guy said apples and oranges. but how many cars can u get into the low13s with only 4k and that includes the price of the car. car and driver gave it the car of the year award in 93 or 94, something had to be right?





i kno im gonna get flamed hardcore for this, but a guy who lives in my neighborhood is a pro racer, scca and all, he has a car in the honda challenge. well his back up car is the probe, being stripped\cagged and having all the boltons he constantly beats up on cars like vipers\porshces\nsxs. he is a certified teacher of some school and his driving skills are elite. he was in a race with a ferrari\porsche turbo2\rx-7\and viper he placed 2nd behind the porshce, he was leading the race but his brakes overheated and he ended up coming off the track, there are videos of this, i will try and find them, please dont flame me for this.



please tell me how im a ricer? i mean seriously, i came here to see if any turboii were for sale, and i see a post about a pgt, and i thought id help the guy out seeing he like many other ppl has finsihed one project and would like to move on. what were all you elite rx-7 guys first cars? if your first car was a 3rd gen, well then u got some great *** rents. but whatever.
