I am considering selling my single turbo FD (located in Tampa, FL). The engine blew a few weeks ago and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking. I hold the title free and clear, giving me no urgency to sell, but I feel my career should take front stage now and would like to sell the car. After graduating with a Masters degree, it looks likely that I will be moving to Manhattan to work on Wall Street in a few months. Thus, even if I fix the car it isn’t likely that I’ll be able to enjoy it for a few years.

20k is what I want for it but I am willing to entertain offers.



The details:

Painted original factory color 6 months ago

Transmission rebuilt less than 1000 miles ago

Fuel system put together less than 1000 miles ago



Ignition/Fuel

Microtech MT-8 standalone ECU

900 Primary/1200 Secondary injectors

-8 feed/ -6 return aluminum hard lines run length of car

SS lines from tank to hard lines in rear and from hard lines to rails in engine bay

Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator

Bosch 044 pump (major overkill, can support 1000 horsepower)

MSD SS coils (x4)

MSD 6A (x1)

Moroso Spark plug wires

J&S Knock sensor with dual display

Heated O2 sensor for ECU

Stock O2 sensor for J&S

Mocal dual oil coolers w/ SS braided lines

MazdaComp radiator w/ SS braided lines

Vented carbon fiber hood (painted to match body)

Larger water pump pulley

13” Porsche big brake kit with slotted and cross drilled rotors (Brembo)

OMP adapter and tank allowing the OMP to inject 2 stroke oil instead of engine oil

Roll cage (4 point) custom fit so as to not limit seat travel

Optima red top battery relocated to rear – mounted in battery box

R1 strut tower brace

Short shift kit

Hella Electric horns

If one were to part out the car I can’t imagine not getting more than 25k out of it. The cost of the new parts is… mind-boggling.

After spending so much time putting it together, I can’t imagine parting it out myself.

i like white too. the plan was to rape that one to get parts for my white one, then the red one woulda got sold as a bone stock car



john hasn't mentioned that that car was a ******* south florida legend that ran regular mid tens at the track
