I'm sorry to see it got but I'm selling my FD. Got another kid on the way so I picked up a 4-door...two 2-seater 2-door cars isn't gonna cut it.

The down and dirty is:

- 59k miles on the car

- Over $10k in speed/reliability parts

- A 7k mile old brand new crate motor (not a reman) from Malloy Mazda that I installed myself (No...that's not figured into the $10k above)

- It's completely tuned to near-perfection (I did the tuning myself...including time at many different altitudes & weather)

- 17.5-18.1 MPG around town

- Proven as fast as (and sometimes even faster than) a C5 Z06

- You can run around with the A/C on when it's 112F outside with no worries

It has 5 problems:

- The 6 ball joints in the rear suspension are worn ($60 each). The rear suspension shifts and makes noises when stopping or pulling away.

- The paint looks killer from 5 feet away but once you get up on it theres a couple scratches and defects. Nothing major but its not car show quality.

- The brakes pulse when coming to a stop. The rotors need to be turned.

- 5th gear buzzes when you engage it. The synchro is smoked.

- The door/cover hinge is broken on the drivers door storage compartment. The door/cover stays in place but if you close the door hard it sometimes ends up in the drivers seat.

Other than those things its COMPLETELY sorted out and daily driveable or road course ready in even the hottest weather....it's no basket case like you would normally get with a modded car. It needs nothing besides those 5 things. The motor is VERY healthy. I live at close to 2700' altitude and it consitently pulls 17-18 inches of vaccum at 14.7:1 AFR and 930 RPM idle. It'll easily crest 20 inches if I idle it fat and/or high. It's still set up sequentially for maximum low end and a wide powerband. It made 340 RWHP & 298 RWTQ @ 13.5 psi on 91 octane...269 RWTQ at only 3400 rpm. It's very punchy and spools instantly. It's currently set up for 14.0-14.5 psi.

Emissions wise the air pump clutch plug is usually disconnected and the I usually run an aftermarket (stright thru) mid pipe. Everything else is still in there and hooked up. After reconnecting the air pump and re-installing the stock midpipe/cat it blew 12 PPM Hydrocarbons and 0.00% Carbon Monoxide at idle AND under load on the dyno. Obviously it passed with flying colors.

Here's the mods and other important stuff (lets see if I can remember them all):

- Rotary Extreme dual 34-row oil coolers

- Koyo radiator (Completely sealed...no air gets around it)

- Evans NPG-R coolant

- No AST

- 13 psi radiator cap

- Fans rewired for medium or high operation only

- Freshly evacuated and recharged A/C system (R-12 still)

- Recently aligned to factory specs on a brand new machine

- Autometer Traditional Chrome Boost, Water, & Oil Temp Gauges (Red Backlighting, gauges almost perfectly match the stockers)

- PLX Devices Wideband O2 setup (Display on the steering column (red, also matches stock))

- Autometer Triple Gauge Pod

- Neo Synthetic 75w-90 in the tranny and rear end

- Castrol GTX, Mobil1 Oil Filters, and brand new #9 plugs every 3k miles

- HKS TwinPower Ignition

- Apex'i Power FC

- FC Datalogit Software and break-out box

- New fuel filter

- Freshly flowed and matched stock injectors (fatter injectors are on the rear rotor)(Replaced every seal/diffuser in there and the pulstation dampner too)

- Hawker Genesis G16EP SLA battery

- SR Motorsports Intake

- ASP Medium Intercooler

- Greddy IC elbow

- Spal HP-Series 10" fan on Intercooler (Switched manually from the drivers seat)

- RX7Store Downpipe & Midpipe (Stock Midpipe included)

- R1 Front Lip

- A R1 Rear spoiler is included (Its white..needs paint)

- SMC alcohol injection (I installed status LED's in the pillar pod and hid the controller)

- RX7 Store Turn signals

- Smoked reflectors

- Real Leather (black) shift and e-brake boots

- Formula One brand pinnacle series 35% tint (top-of-the-line, rejects maximum heat for a 35% tint)

- Custom Boze/ZE Forged High Octane Wheels (F: 18x9 R:18x10)

- BFGoodrich G-Force KDW's (F:245/35/18 R:285/30/18) (Road Force Balanced on a Hunter GSP 9700)

- Clutch - ACT Xtreme pressure plate with a full face street disk

- Bomez upper intake pipe

- Hose Technologies Silicon everywhere (every connection zip-tied)

If you're looking for a car you can jump right into and enjoy right away...this is it. You can contact me at trevorlj@***.net . I'm asking $19k for now. Being that I bought it for $900 less when it was bone stock only 18k miles and and 17 months ago...I think this is a hell of a deal.
