Thumbs down

I have a 94 RX-7 for sale. The car is white and is a 5spd with a tan/black interior. I am not sure if it is a touring model or not, but I know its not the R1/R2 because it does not have the lip spoiler or the Bose sytem. I recently bought this car locally in September 2002 and am looking for a more practical car because I have just accepted a position in my company that requires travel and relocation. There are approximately 80,000 miles on the car on the original engine. The previous owner had a 60,000 mile service at approximately 64,000 miles performed by the dealership and the compression test results were good.

CONDITION:

The condition of the car is excellent. The previous owner always had it in a garage and hardly ever drove it. When I went to look at the car, I could not believe how like new the car was. The paint is good and interior has no flaws whatsoever. Just maybe a few stains on the mats which I've taken care of with some Oxi Clean. There are 2 dings on the car that you would have to stare at the car for a few seconds to finally see it. One ding is on the rear fender and one is on the passenger side door. I wax the car every 2 weeks and always keep it clean. The maintenance guys at my apartment complex constantly tease me about this. I have cleaned the engine bay out once a month since I've owned the car. The car has not been in any accidents by me or the previous owner. I have a Carfax that I ran before I bought the car that proves that it has a clean title.

MAINTENANCE:

The previous owner of the car was very, very meticulous. He has always had the car serviced by the local dealership and has given me the records to prove it. He brought the car in for the most minor little things and told me that he was laughed at by the service manager a lot of the times. I have continued in the babying of the car by performing all preventive maintenance on the car (thanks to this forum) and have also done all the reliability mods except for the hose job and more. I have kept an excel spreadsheet and update it the minute I perform any work on the car. Since I purchased it, I have only used Mobil 1 full synthetic and Mobil 1 oil filter.

Here are some recent things that I have done:

1. changed out plugs

2. changed out thermostat

3. changed out O2 sensor

4. replaced air filter with K&N drop in

5. replaced fuel filter

6. 2 new tires - Yokohama AVS-ES100

7. replaced drive belts - PS Pump/AC, alternator

8. replaced clutch switch

9. replaced driver's side door handle

MODIFICATIONS:

For the most part, the car is comepletely stock. Here is the list of mods that I have purchased and installed in the car:

1. Fluidyne radiator

2. M2 downpipe

3. Apex'i AVC-R boost controller

4. Apex'i turbo timer

5. Defi gauges - A/F ratio, Fuel Pressure, Temperature

6. Alpine CDA-7893 and with Alpine 3 way speakers front and rear

7. dual pod center speaker gauge pod

8. single pod A-pillar gauge pod

OVERALL:

Overall the car is like new condition. You would have to see it to believe it.

Here is a link to view about 20 pictures that I took of the car this past weekend:

If you do not have an imagestation ID please register, its free and you will be able to view the entire album. Believe me, the pictures are very good and can be viewed at a pretty big size.

PRICE:

I am located in Greenville, SC area code 29607. I am looking for $19,000/OBO because of the money and all the love I have put into the car. I will consider offers without all the mods because I still have all the parts to return the car to bone stock.

Please email me with any questions at:

n_huynh@hotmail.com or reply to this thread. I will be happy to attach the maintenance spreadsheet to an email upon request. Thank you very much!

God I wouldn't mind having it... my girlfriend would kill me if I came home with another FD... or another RX-7. She just doesn't see the passion.

Also I'm spent for a while.

Great car.

White FDs are quite sexy! nice looking. I like the interior, the gauges and stereo and everything looks very professional

At least I know I am not the only one who gets made fun of for how clean their cars are and how obsessive I am

to some of us love is equal to money...we love our RX-7's so much we spend excessive amounts of money on them
