Do you know where I can get a loan for a car that old?

I'd do $8,500 if you don't mind. So that I can at least afford shipping for the car...

Before anymore offers...

The car currently smokes. I have replaced the turbo but still continues to smoke. The Current theory is the OMP, but a compression check is waiting to be done(to be safe). That is what is meant "as is". After the problem is fixed I plan on selling for $10k. If you want the car AS-IS I will sell it for $8,500

Well 8.5k to 10k...that's a big price diff. It's it's not that huge of a problem, then that's askin' too much, no? If it needs a new motor..then sure, 10k is good.

So dude, do you know any companies besides a bank that will do a loan for an old car? Considering FD's still hold their value even in KBB, do you think it's possible?

I accepted the $8,500 as is price because I wanna get rid of the car, and it would cost me less headaches. But I think $10k for a great running FD with its mods is fair. Do you have a bank or a credit union? I took out an 8k loan to buy this car over a year ago, and I had 0 credit. Someone else mention peoplefirst.com aswell.
