I'm just south of Kansas City (66013). Don't get too PO'd at me for cannibalizing this low mileage AE . I bought it a year ago on another forum ( http://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.ph...&threadid=95063 )

when I needed an 88 TII to swap into my vert . After the swap, I put all of the NA stuff from my vert into the AE with the intention of rebuilding the NA engine, maybe race it, and give the vert a rest from being my constant daily driver on occasion.

After reassembling the AE and taking it to get inspected as an assembled vehicle as required by the state of Kansas, I was told that while a bill of sale is acceptable proof of ownership for vehicles with a frame, it is not for a unibody vehicle in our fine state. The absence of the original title for the AE body has me in a bind since I just moved from Missouri to Kansas. Missouri, and many other states, have provisions for getting new titles, as described in the original post listed above. My only remaining option in KS is to "quiet title" the car, which means giving a lawer about 1800 bucks and who knows how much time.

So here's your chance to get a low mileage AE with no title and very little paint (peeler). The carfax was listed in the original ad, and the highway patrol's inspection just last month confirmed that it's got a clean history, never reported stolen, wrecked, salvaged, etc.

PRICE: Best offer over 1,000 dollars. I bought it for 2200 and had my way with it, and lucked out in getting a TII that's running strong after six years of storage. I swapped hoods, engines, trannies, drivelines, rear subframes, and rims with my vert, and the necessary components listed on my TII vert swap page (www.kcnet.com/~sriley). The interior of the AE is all stock and in good shape. Yes, the floormats are there. The radio surround has a small crack, and I borrowed the defroster vent grills for my vert. The seats aren't bad at all, with just a few cracks. Wipers are now fixed, but the antenna doesn't go all the way down. Sunroof works, but needs the slightest boost to get it moving up.

It's definitely driveable, but when swapped, my vert was only able to go 70-80 mph which seemed to be a result of my secondary injectors being terminally clogged. It's NEVER overheated, but it did start pushing coolant into the overflow tank. I found a pinhole leak in a hose next to the firewall and have taken care of that leak, but I would plan on rebuilding this NA engine sometime soon anyway with its 167K. I only have a regular compression tester, so all I can say is that when I pulled the engine the pulses looked consistent, and similar on both rotors. Bring your tester if you like.

Exterior has mostly primer, a nice aluminum NA hood from my vert (also white) and not much rust, mostly just some pinpoint stains in the primer.

Please don't ask me to part out this car... I will sell you any part you need if you don't mind paying at least a grand for it, and dissasemble it when you get home

I will provide my bill of sale from the previous (second) owner and all documentation from the state of Texas where it was originally titled. As stated on the bill of sale, the car is sold as is without a title. Preference will be given to buyers who can pick the car up in person, but I could probably arrange to sell it with Paypal, money order or certified check and ship it. Theres a link on E-bay motors site for shipping quotes by zip code.
