Just seeing what I could get for it. If its a good enough amount, I'll get rid of it sadly and put it towards something AWD until I can one day come back to the rotary.

Details on it are;

red exterior/grey interior

108,000 miles

Mobil 1 15w 50 since 70,000 and at the most changed at 3,000

Very clean excepting a few rock chips on the hood and the saddest part, a gash in the passenger front and rear fenders from getting caught in a freak snowstorm and slightly grazing a guardrail.

Modifications are;

TB Mod stage 1 (no porting)

89-91 turbo and manifold from a J-spec engine

"Custom" RB 3" turboback exhaust (more on the custom part for whoever is interested)

RB 12lb Aluminum Flywheel

ACT Extreme pressure plate and SS disk

Redline in tranny

Hawk HPS pads

Brembo OE style rotors

89-91 TII/GTUs wheels

Preventative maintenance and recently replaced items;

Brake calipers rebuilt

Brand new clutch hydraulics and SS flex hose

Various grounding points redone and added

fuel pump rewire

fuel filter

turbo and manifold gaskets

injectors cleaned by RC Engineering

Other;

Alpine 60w x4 CD deck, very nice unit

Polk 6.5" components in the rear and 4" components in the doors

JVC 12 disc CD changer

Autometer boost gauge

Should also be noted tires are currently completely bald. Tires can be arranged to be installed, especially if the buyer will be driving it long distance.

Thats about it othen than asking price. I'd like to get $4,000 for it, but like I said I'm just taking offers to see what I can get.

Pics below ;

Pictures of the car when I first bought it next to my 72 GTO (also for sale);

And this is the one picture when you can see the damage to the passenger side;

Whatsup..

I'm new to Nopistons, and I have been lookin for a turbo ii for a while now(I figured i'd wait till spring to search but i dont think i can hold out that long ) at the present time i go to school in albany ny..

Just a few quick questions..

The car looks in pretty good shape from ur pics and desciption..just the "gash" on the passenger front and rear fenders..would that be an easy fix? be easy i guess i mean could it be restored back to "normalish" condition..through the pic its hard to see the severity, (but from the pic it doesnt look bad at all). also how many miles are on ur mods (clutch and such)...like are they older modifications or brandnew... and a little more info on that "custom" exhaust would be helpful

i believe my email and aim s/n are in my profile..

thanks for any info u can give!

Those are questions I'll just sum up in here as I should have clarified on them originally.

The front fender could just be taken off and replaced with one that isnt damaged, but the rear is much more difficult if you are hoping to not use body filler. If you dont care about that, its only a dent about a half centimeter deep and can very easily be filled.

EVERYTHING except the fuel filter, TB mod, and exhaust was done at about 92,000, which for this car was a year ago last May.

The fuel filter and exhaust were done around 98,000, and the TB mod and injectors were done at about 85,000.

The custom part about the exhaust means, its "almost" the full RB turboback. The downpipe is from RX-7 Fashion and was too long so the presilencer has been cut back a bit. I should have just cut the downpipe but at the time the turbo to downpipe gasket was new and I didnt want to do anything that would cause exhaust leaks.

I also need to note the car will NOT do full throttle. The full exhaust, 89-91 turbo, and TB mod let this thing get boost as low as 1400rpm and on the 8 psi max by 2300. The thing is, it doesnt have any kind of fuel mods save for the pump rewire so, boost cut will kick in. I can get usually close to full throttle in first, and half throttle in second and third, then 1/3 throttle in 4th and 5th.

Good news is corksport has those nice ECUs for about $270

oh and nemesis, the GTO I'd like to ask $5,000 for it. I can email more details on both cars if anyone likes.

Hey,

I guess i should say that im interested in ur car (the turboII)..i have been lookin for one for a while around in or around new york state for a while. Are you definitely selling it or just seeing what u can get for it? I go to school in Albany(so im there all week and most weekends), but i live about an hour and half south of the city. The only problem for me is if u are selling it, and assuming it isnt sold already, is gettin up to Rochester to check it out. I think i would be able to get a chance around the 28th. I dono if thats convenient for you if others are interested.

I probably should have responded sooner

I just thought i should get that in after deciding i was interested just in case..

I've seen Geoff's car up close a few times (even up on a lift once) and I can vouch for the quality of the car. It's very well taken care of.
