I've had this thing sitting around for like two years, and now I'm moving to Chicago and have no place to work on it, so up for sale it goes. It's an '87 Tii, stock, with ~105K miles. Prior to my purchasing it, it sat in the parking lot of a shop for 6 years. The previous owner defaulted on payment for work done to it back in the day, and chose instead to abandon it. After that much time passed, it legally became the property of the shop, who then sold it to me. Title is all clean and problem free, for those worried about any complications.

As for the condition of the car, I'll rate it as...not bad. Body is straight, few dings here and there but no major damage. Needs a windshield definitely, could use some trim pieces and such. Sunroof has two rust holes in it (shown in pics), and I have a replacement, but it turns out that one ALSO has a rust hole, albeit smaller (hooray, ripoff!). Interior is musty smelling and could use a good cleaning, but I think everything is there and in decent shape. In the pics, the passenger seat might look crooked, that's because it's not bolted down (we did pull and clean the carpet). I think all of the rear interior is there as well. The dash is pulled apart a little, but again, everything is there.

Now for the bad news: I bought a S5 JDM Tii two years ago (I think from SpeedMachine) when I thought I had time to swap it in. Turns out all the title work and crap took a long time (1 1/2 years...), so I didn't want to drop the motor in and then have someone repo it or something. At the time, I didn't realize how different the S4 and S5 motors were. I was in the process of making everything work (have both complete motors), but everything is out of the car, as seen in the pics. I also have a new water pump, IM gasket, vacuum pump, and fuel filter.

What you'll need:

-An oil cooler. Long story short- I scalped the one off this car for my racecar. I have one that works and doesn't leak, but it's kind of bent up. You could use it just fine, but mounting it might be a pain.

-Whatever wiring/parts shenanigans that need to be done for the S5 to work in the S4 body. Apparently this isn't too complicated and really involves just parts swapping between the two motors, which is what I was doing before I ran out of time.

-Maybe an S5 ECM, if the S4 one won't work with the S5 engine. I didn't find anything conclusive about this, so I don't know.

-Windshield, as stated above

-Sunroof panel, as stated above.

The tires on there are crap, but I have 4 brand new unmounted Falken Ziex 512s, as well as new brake pads for at least the front, maybe rear. I MAY have a set of new rotors laying around as well, I'm not sure.

Asking price: $3000 OBO I'm really not sure how much this is worth, and am basing that price on other cars I looked at on this forum and others. I am open to negotiation, cash talks, and I am in a hurry. I'll tell you now, I will not accept less than $1500, and will hold out before I get that desperate. For that money you're getting the car with a good S5 motor, a spare S4 motor needing a rebuild, and a new set of tires. If I'm way out line, please let me know and I'll alter that price.

VIN is available to interested parties.

I do, I do. Is the price the issue, or just the project in general? eBay might very well be calling my name...

I'm gonna sell the tires separate, but I don't have time to get rid of everything else separately. $600? $600 would be for just the shell, I know it's worth at least that. LSD, brakes, interior, etc. The S5 motor is totally fine, and the S4 motor has a lot of good parts, even if the barrel is bad. Anyway, I have a guy coming this weekend with $1500, so...whatever.

No one else has made me a serious offer, and I need it gone. I wanted more than that, but oh well.
