I have an '85 GSL that got caught in the flood here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, back in June. Was going to gut it and try to get it running again, but I just don't have the time. Like the title says it has two engines, one in the car and a good core to rebuild. engine in the car is a homemade 6 port 12a that ran prior to getting flooded. I haven't tried to start it since, but I'm sure there is going to be water in the oil pan, since the water got up to about the top of the tire on the car. So high enough to get in the CC breather but not down the carb. the second engine is a core I picked up cheap, with the intention of rebuilding and putting a turbo on. that engine stayed dry, so no water worries. everything in the interior that got wet has been pulled out and thrown away, to try and keep mold from starting in.
