Fs: 1993 Rx7 $7,500

I’m posting this up for my friend at MazdaTech in the Mukilteo, WA area. The car belongs to a customer of his.
I don’t know a ton about the car, but I did look it over and its in pretty good shape for a ’93. Standard paint flake on the front, no dents, no paint fade, good interior, no rips.
Overall the car is worth looking at, I think. The catch is that the engine (which was built recently by hayes rotary) ended up dying. Go figure, eh…
I, nor Andy (owner of mazdatech) have really looked deep into it, but it smokes and has knock at idle. Most engine parts are most likely salvageable.
So the owner wants $7,500 for the car, as it sits. I went and took some pictures of it, and again, if you’re looking for a little project fd (just needs an engine) this wouldn’t be that bad of a gig.

[quote name='Shane.Trammell' date='May 17 2005, 01:42 PM']looks nice! it must have a salvage title to be so low, give more details on the car, mileage, mods

I dunno but i think that sticker that says "clean" on the windsheild might represent a clean title. It's actually not really that low of a price after you get it shipped to your house (600 bucks), a stock engine (3,000) and install if you dont do it yourself. Your easily looking at 11k to have a stock motor, if you want a street ported, 3mm seals, ported oil and coolant passages, ect ect your looking at about 12-13k.
You can find a nice stock FD for around 11 if you look hard enough. I paid 12500 for my 94 with 5k on the motor, which is easily what you would pay for this car after all the work and headaches. Still looks like a really nice car and at least when you put a new motor in you know where its from and stuff.
good luck with the sale im sure it will be gone soon

The title is clean, the mileage im not sure of because i didnt have the keys when i took the pictures.
I would buy it if I wasnt wanting to leave the modifying scene for awhile. Its not a bad car at all!
