I am selling my 1988 Mazda RX-7 GXL. The car starts and runs great everyday....never had any problems with it. It is Blue Ext/Int w/ leather seats (no rips). The car has 154,xxx miles on it.. I believe the motor is original, starts right up on first crank. The tranny is a five speed manual and it shifts great, the clutch bites very quickly, there are no grinds in the tranny at all. The car is almost 100% bone stock, except the stereo. A/C, PS, Air Pump, everything is still on the car. Missing the battery cover though. The body is really striaght....only various small knicks, scratches, dents....nothing big, very small door ding size dents on the passenger door.

The clock still works....

Good tires, brakes, suspension, new master cylinder, new belts, new fluids, new shifter bushings, etc....

There is a problem with the factory sunroof. It tilts up, but won't slide....I looked and it appears that the little slider arm is broken. The sunroof also had a bad rubber seal around it which caused rust on the sunroof....but there isn't rust anyhere else on the car. So honestly, a new sunroof would fix all your problems for very little money.

Other things are the plastic corner defrost vents are broke (go figure), the plastic surround, where the warning lights and clock are, is cracked as is the stereo surround. Cruise control quit working one day, I am going to try and have that fixed though before the sale. Power windows work, power mirrors work, and all that.

I will post pics this weekend of the car inside and out. I will more than likely be placing it on Ebay next week.

I am looking to get around $1200-1400 for it. The car is located in mid Missouri. I could meet anyone at an airport if they wanted in either Kansas City or St. Louis. Or we can try and work out some form of shipping arangements.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Thanks,

Scott

Yea, I agree with you, Rob. Only thing is when I sell my car I don't want it to be sold to anyone around me.. I guess it may be a sentimental kinda thing.. but I just don't want to have to see someone else driving my old car.. That's why I may just part my entire FC out.

Not many people will buy a car for a few thousand dollars

and travel or ship it.

Local is the way to go, my neighboor's kid bought my vert, he loves it.

Yeah, and the people on this forum are bargain hunters for the most part, and don't want to pay what the car is actually worth. Like me
