Since I don't have the time to repair this car and I need a daily driver immediatly, I am forced to sell the car. The car is having a problem with the cooling system (search for my other post on here to read about it) it may be coolant seals, or it may be something more simple.
Condition of exterior 8
Paint color is black. There is some spots where the clear coat is starting to chip off, mostly above the drivers side window on the door. Absolutley no dings or dents. Car appears to never have been wrecked or hit. Rear bumper does have a good scratch on it from possibly a shopping cart. Exterior tailights have been upgraded to the round ones off a new rx7.
Condition of interior 5
Drivers side seat is a grey vinyl type seat and has many rips and tears in the fabric. Seat will need replaced or recovered. Passenger side seat is in a lot better shape with only small rips. Carpet is in fair condition, grey in color and possbily stained. I never got a chance to run a shampooer over it so I don't know how clean it can get.
Condition of dashboard and gauges 9
Dashboard is in great shape and looks almost brand new. Every single light that is supposed to light up does. Gauges all are in working order. Idiot cluster clock does dim and brighten as bumps are hit when the headlights are on.
Electronics 7
Drivers side window switch will need replaced as it not longer raises the passenger side window and getting the drivers side window back up sometimes requires some playing with the switch to work. Both windows and sunroof do open and close, but do so pretty slow. Windshield wiper switch will need replaced as the delay wipers no longer work and the wipers will not return back down unless you turn the switch off while they are down. Hi and lo wipers do work functionally. Car has Blapunk (sp?) speakers in front and rear PO installed. I can install a JVC headunit back in the car as mine will be removed before sale. All exterior lighting is in proper working order. Head lights both go up and down. Power antannea is functioning. Wiring harness in engine above t-stat is old and heat stressed making it brittle.
Aftermarket mods 8
PO has installed a Racing Beat cat back dual exhaust system which is in good condition. Mushroom air filter. Greddy turbo timer. Auto meter aftermarket boost gauge which matches factory dash lights (orangish red) FCD box. Turbo XS blow off valve. Don't know if any engine mods were done by PO.
Engine ?
Car will start and run but has a problem with the cooling system, possible coolant seal failure? Otherwise engine seems to run good and I don't think there is any major problems with it, however it was never checked out by a mechanic. Turbo works good and does not have any shaft play. Engine does have the flooding problem I believe to be caused by leaky fuel injectors. Normally pulling the inj fuse is good enough to get her going again. I have replaced the starter about 3 months ago. V belt was just replaced also. Battery is less than 3 months old.
Brakes/Wheels 8
About a month or two ago new calipers were installed along with new rotors and pads front and back, brake fluid was flushed out and replaced. This was around $1,000 at the local mechanic. I still have receipt. Wheels are the stock wheels but are missing the centercaps. They are in average condition. No dents or dings but they just don't clean up the best.
Exhaust 8
Racing beat dual cat back exhaust system in good shape. Catalytic coverter has worked its way lose and will need to be moved forward and clamped down again to stop exhaust leak. Catalytic converter is less than 3 months old.
State Inspection 5
Car is inspected and emission exempt in the state of PA until June of this year. Previous owner did remove the air pump and all additional lines so getting it to pass emissions in the future may be tricky. Car has been driven less than 5,000 miles since last inspection so car would again be exempt in the state of PA from emissions. Oxygen sensor is there but not hooked up and the wire that hooks up to it is missing or hidden very well.
Overall 7
I am not willing to part this car out as I believe it would make a nice project car, so please no part requests. If the engine or cooling system can be rebuilt or repaired you got a nice car for a decent price. Car does run and drive but may overheat so either a tow dolly or a roll back should be brought if you purchase the car. I am not able to deliver this car it must be picked up. I live in York, Pennsyvania. Also along with the car goes a small box of parts. The original shift boot which was torn, the original stereo surround piece and some spare heater vents. Car will not have head unit installed unless requested.
I am trying to be as fair as I can and explain everything including all the known problems, which the PO never did to me. Unfortunetly I ended up buying it thinking I would have a daily driver not knowing that the coolant seals may have been failing or whatever the coolant problem is. I really hate to sell this car but it's cold and I can't ride my motorcycle in the snow so I need some other mode of transportation. I did try to repair the cooling problem by replacing the radiator cap and other various things but I believe this problem may be a little more than I have the time or experience for. This is unfortunetly the only picture I have at the present. In a week or so, engine, interior and more exterior photos will be uploaded.

hey where do you live. really interested. will you trade for a 86 gxl about 40000 on the engine and a complete sound system? or if you dont want to i will buy if you live close to wisconsin.

I will accept trades for a running car as the main reason of selling this is so I have a way to work. If I already had a running car this wouldn't be for sale and I would plan on fixing it. Also remember this car has problems with overheating due to an unknown problem possibly a coolant seal or something more minor. That means you can't just drive this car home it will need towed by some means.
