4RotorRocket,
Mine is still for sale and I have lowered the price to $17,200. I could negotiate even further, as I have found the car to start my single turbo project with. Here is a copy of the ad:
The car for sale is my 5spd Montego Blue 1993 Mazda RX-7 (touring). The chassis has 80k miles and the engine has about 12k (mazda remanufactured, installed at PFS). The turbos have approximately 30k miles on them and the radiator has about 45k. The modifications are as follows:
PFS cool charge intake (K&N filters)
PFS stock mount intercooler
PFS 3" downpipe,
midpipe (3" high flow cat that has been gutted)
PFS cat-back
PFS boost gauge
NR white face gauges
PFS PMS (programmable management system) with commander
PFS heavy duty clutch with racing pressure plate (only 800 miles)
PFS lightweight flywheel (only 800 miles)
4.33 rear
GAB Super 8 way adjustable struts
Silicone vaccuum lines
Aluminum AST
The PMS is programmed with three settings: 10psi, 12psi, and 14psi. The fuel and timing maps are adjusted accordingly. The third setting is intended for use with 100 octane race gas (I have not used the third setting). The engine boosts accurately, with NO BOOST CREEP that is usually associated with free flowing exhaust. The car passed VA emissions inspection in January with the help of a high flow cat. I could include the stainless steel cat at extra cost (essentially new-only used for emissions). Oil has been changed every 1500 to 2000 miles. Transmission shifts flawlessly.
The exterior is in good condition with the exception of the front bumper, which has tiny white specks from the previous owner frequenting a gravel road. I have polished and waxed the car frequently. The tan leather interior is in excellent condition, the only sign of wear being on the driver's seat side bolster (NO HOLES).
The car has been perfectly reliable as my garage kept daily driver. I am selling (or perhaps trading?) so that I can purchase a stock FD and perform a single turbo conversion. I have many pictures- please email me for them at gmantaylor@earthlink.net .

As far as you being able to drive the car....Have you ever driven an Rx-7? What cars were you driving before? The car has no traction control in case you didnt know. So one slip of you foot and the thing hits a telephone pole straight on.
No one is wishing that you get in a wreck. We have already lost a member this year because he was power hungry. We don't like losing members what ever the reason might be. I am just saying it is not a good car to start off with. GoodLuck

Get a clue has nothing to do with a 93-95 touring FD for sale.It has something to do with the FD being my first car but why do you care.Let me learn the hard way then, and Amen what the **** is that we aint praying here.
