FikseRxSeven 07-25-2003 09:24 PM

hahaha, for 20k, a lot of people are willing to part with their montego blue fd's

94touring 07-25-2003 09:56 PM

Do you already have the money together? If so, why not settle for black on black? My car is still for sale, 18k takes it plus you pay shipping...keeps you well below 20k.

great car...... i would take it if i were you..... you get 2000 pocket money too

94touring 07-25-2003 10:04 PM

And there aint a damn thing wrong with my car either. AC needs a recharge and it needs a stereo, everything else is mechanically sound, all new carpet and seats, good paint, tons of mods, and a blast to drive. Just needs a good home, I can't take care of it while i'm in school.

4RotorRocket 07-25-2003 10:55 PM

94touring I thought your car was sold for money and a bike trade?

rfreeman27 07-25-2003 11:06 PM

it fell through didnt it?

94touring 07-25-2003 11:24 PM

No, never said the deal went through, just said I was thinking about it. I decided against it, I don't need a bike and would just sell it. I had the chance though. So the FD is still for sale.

Now the FD has to be worth the $20,000 FikseRxSeven. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png

94touring how long have you been trying to sell that car?

94touring 07-26-2003 11:31 AM

A little over a month. Seems like forever though.

94touring 07-26-2003 10:59 PM

Its tough selling a fully modded FD, its takes a rare bread to want to jump into that style of car. Are you ready to buy yet?

Yeah and I can tell 4rotorrocket isnt that type of breed. I dont think anybody should start with a modded FD. Its a deathtrap....Then again. Sell it to the kid https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

94touring 07-26-2003 11:05 PM

Haha, but it will be funny to see the crash pics of my car a week after he buys it!!

"so how did you wreck?"

"well see....I was cruising at 40mph and punched the gas, then all of a sudden it slid off the road"

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 12:45 AM

How would you know if I am or not that type of breed? You think me wrecking my **** would be funny? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png Yes I have the money and yes im ready to buy.Ive been paitentlly waiting for the right one to pop up and trust me it aint 94tourings FD.I would also much rather buy a car from someone who hopes all goes well than someone who thinks I will crash or someone who wants me to crash.

94touring 07-27-2003 12:48 AM

Buahahaha!!! Its a joke for christ sake.

94touring 07-27-2003 12:58 AM

"If its around a couple months from now its sold...to me."

Remember that 4rotor? You scared of the car one week later?

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 01:05 AM

Very true I really dont want the people to know I have the money,in this case I will let it out of the bag though just to let you know where im coming from.

94touring 07-27-2003 01:23 AM

Well one word of advice: No one is going to want their time wasted by a dreaming 18 year old unless they know you got money to spend. If you're lucky you'll find someone honest who is willing to work out a good deal.

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 01:33 AM

I aint no DREAMING little 18 year old and what your the honest guy willing to make a good deal?

94touring 07-27-2003 01:35 AM

Yeah i'm an old crook trying to rip little kids off with 20k to spend.

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 01:38 AM

Maybe you are maybe not,but I just need to look at more FDs than 2 or 3.And also little kids,im not a little kid and its me myself and I who is buying this FD.

Knowone is helping me out except the bank.

ripin rotors 07-27-2003 03:22 PM

4RotorRocket,

Mine is still for sale and I have lowered the price to $17,200. I could negotiate even further, as I have found the car to start my single turbo project with. Here is a copy of the ad:

The car for sale is my 5spd Montego Blue 1993 Mazda RX-7 (touring). The chassis has 80k miles and the engine has about 12k (mazda remanufactured, installed at PFS). The turbos have approximately 30k miles on them and the radiator has about 45k. The modifications are as follows:

PFS cool charge intake (K&N filters)

PFS stock mount intercooler

PFS 3" downpipe,

midpipe (3" high flow cat that has been gutted)

PFS cat-back

PFS boost gauge

NR white face gauges

PFS PMS (programmable management system) with commander

PFS heavy duty clutch with racing pressure plate (only 800 miles)

PFS lightweight flywheel (only 800 miles)

4.33 rear

GAB Super 8 way adjustable struts

Silicone vaccuum lines

Aluminum AST

The PMS is programmed with three settings: 10psi, 12psi, and 14psi. The fuel and timing maps are adjusted accordingly. The third setting is intended for use with 100 octane race gas (I have not used the third setting). The engine boosts accurately, with NO BOOST CREEP that is usually associated with free flowing exhaust. The car passed VA emissions inspection in January with the help of a high flow cat. I could include the stainless steel cat at extra cost (essentially new-only used for emissions). Oil has been changed every 1500 to 2000 miles. Transmission shifts flawlessly.

The exterior is in good condition with the exception of the front bumper, which has tiny white specks from the previous owner frequenting a gravel road. I have polished and waxed the car frequently. The tan leather interior is in excellent condition, the only sign of wear being on the driver's seat side bolster (NO HOLES).

The car has been perfectly reliable as my garage kept daily driver. I am selling (or perhaps trading?) so that I can purchase a stock FD and perform a single turbo conversion. I have many pictures- please email me for them at gmantaylor@earthlink.net .

Do you even know what to look for in a decent FD? I would bet money that 94Tourings is in better condition then the others you are going to find on the net. Which is probably why he wont sell it on Ebay. And noone cares where you got the money. We all know your in that huge gang of your and gang members have lots of money https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

As far as you being able to drive the car....Have you ever driven an Rx-7? What cars were you driving before? The car has no traction control in case you didnt know. So one slip of you foot and the thing hits a telephone pole straight on.

No one is wishing that you get in a wreck. We have already lost a member this year because he was power hungry. We don't like losing members what ever the reason might be. I am just saying it is not a good car to start off with. GoodLuck https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Amen brother!

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 08:18 PM

Get a clue has nothing to do with a 93-95 touring FD for sale.It has something to do with the FD being my first car but why do you care.Let me learn the hard way then, and Amen what the **** is that we aint praying here.

94touring 07-27-2003 09:17 PM

So where you been looking for the "perfect" FD at? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 09:39 PM

Dont spam up my thread with your bullshit!

94touring 07-27-2003 09:41 PM

Why not, its fun watching you get all huffy and puffy.

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 09:42 PM

Because im looking for an FD not a conversation.

Dramon_Killer 07-27-2003 09:56 PM

These are the people you'll be talkin to though when you start having problems with your fd that you finally find though. Keep that in mind.

4RotorRocket 07-27-2003 09:58 PM

Very true but if there gonna be like that then **** it.

Dramon_Killer 07-27-2003 10:02 PM

Honestly though, i've been through a bunch of forums, the supra ones, the 3g ones, the 300zx ones and out of all of them the nopistons bunch has been the friendliest, most knowledgable, and most helpful out of all of them.

94touring 07-27-2003 10:09 PM

We're just here to help. You're the one not making a good impression, so expect to get **** from everyone.

WishIhadaRX7 07-27-2003 11:38 PM

LOL, I was agreeing with Rob that you need to get a clue, not praying ya dipshit.

If you think 94touring's car isn't the best deal you will find for under 20k your nuts.

But if I were him I wouldn't sell it to you for fear of A) what would happen to the car when you wrap it around a tree, or B) what you **** up when you decide to change something

94touring 07-27-2003 11:56 PM

No one needs to worry. Believe it or not i've turned down more than 1 acceptable offer on the simple fact I don't want some young immature kid who doesn't know what he's getting into ruining my car. I've seen too many good rx7's get trashed by the wrong people. Like I said earlier, it takes a rare breed to take on this style car. Sooner or later the right buyer will come around for me, and he will be lucky to own such a car and the car will be lucky to have such an owner.

Sometimes you just gotta wait for the right buyer just like you have to wait for the right car.
