This beautiful CYM is one of 350 ever brought the U.S. This car has 145k on the chassis and only 10k on the engine and turbos. I have all the paperwork for the rebuilds. I did a cold compression test on it a few weeks ago and the compression is great. Cold compression is between 88-91 in all 6 chambers. For those of you who don't know when an FD is warm it should show about 10psi more then when it is cold. I have checked and from what I can see the coolant seals are fine. It has a roll bar/cage, after market adjustable suspension, aftermarket radiator, aftermarket AST, aftermarket slotted and "dimpled" brakes, driver racing harness, intake, exhaust, CD player and turbo timer. The car is street legal but I was told by someone it may not pass in California with that intake. The car runs and drives great. The transmission will “clunk” if you try to push the car into first gear while rolling more than about 5mph otherwise it will go into 1st with no issues. I do not know why it does that. The rest of the gears shift fine and there is no 5th gear syncro problem. The cars body is in excellent condition but its original paint is a victim of the “chronic CYM fade” I have a friend who owns a paint shop and does excellent work. If the buyer so chooses I will have the car painted for what the shop owner charges me. A new coat of paint will make this car glow!

The car needs a new IAC valve, intake gasket and an oil gasket. I have the parts and was going to install them but many have suggested I sell the car without having them repaired as to save the buyer money. If the buyer so chooses I will take $300 off the price if they want to install these parts their self and smog the car. The parts it needs are simple to install. The car runs and drives without them. It just has an unusual idle and boost is lost through the intake gasket. I will have these things fixed included in the regular price of the car.

I will ship anywhere in the U.S. and Canada at buyers expense. Shipping usually costs between $400 and $1,000 depending on where the car is going. I will be happy to arrange shipping for the buyer at no extra charge. If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me.

$14,300 for the car with the gaskets and IAC valve done

$15,800 for the car with a new high-quality 4 stage paint job

$14,000 for the car “as is” without the IAC valve and gaskets installed. The two gaskets and new IAC valve will be included with the car.
