1995 VR Base 5 speed 17,750obo
1995 Vintage Red Mazda Rx7. Only 500 rx7s were imported in 1995. This is 1 of only 19 Vintage Red Base Model 5speeds imported into the states in 95. The base model 5speeds weighs in at 2,789 lbs making them the lightest of all 3rd gen Rx7s. Car features a New Street Ported motor w/ 3mm 2 piece apex seals with a little over 700 miles on it, and the turbos have less than 20k miles on them. Motor work was done by Sean Gergainer in Cookeville, TN. He owns Driven 2 Perform and has done rebuilds on over 50 rotary engines.

This car dynoed at 318 rwhp at Rotary Performance before the addition of the street ported motor, pulleys, and efini y pipe. Currently car should be somewhere between 340-360 rwhp.
Asking $17,750 but am open to lower offers if the buyer is ready to buy in the next week. Email offers to r8cn7s@aol.com or just post back on this thread. This should be the lowest price 95 5speed for sale in the states with a clear title.
Vehicle Condition
Exterior of the car is in great shape. The driver side door has a couple of small dings which aren’t visible in pictures and must be viewed at an angle and up close. Under the driver side door there is a small horizontal area about 6” by 1” area where the clear coat has peeled off. The peeling looks like it has stopped and shouldn’t pose any problems in the future. As you can see in the pics it is not noticeable from more than a couple of feet away. The rest of the exterior is near mint with a few tiny dings and rock chips.
The interior is near flawless with the exception of the driver seat has side bolster wear which is common among all rx7s. I would be more than happy to provide pics upon your request. Send all emails to r8cn7s@aol.com .
Mechanically the car is very sound. The new motor and turbos run great and practically make the car new. The only issue mechanically is the 5th gear syncro grinds slightly and I mean very slighty during hard shifts from 4th to 5th. Had I known of this problem prior to the engine rebuild I would have fixed it. During normal shifts the transmission shifts very smooth.
Feel Free to email me at r8cn7s@aol.com with all offers, questions, and requests or give me a call at 865 385 5622. I can email pics upon request. Thanks
