93 Fd W/ Mods 4/s
Hello all,
I'm trying to stir up some preliminary interest for my FD. It is a 93 Base FD3S, Red w/ tan, 5 speed. The vin # is JM1FD3315P0200631. Located in NY. I'm writing this post on the run, so please bear with me.
Some background info: I bought the car in July 2002. It had a body kit w/ a blown motor at the time. The chassis had @73000 miles on it. I had the car transported to Romeo at T&R Racing for a streetport and rebuild of the motor. Since I was building the heart of my car, I'd also decided to purchase a more competent ECU. That's where the Wolf 3D came in. Tuned by the all-mighty Wayne from WayneSpeed, I have to say this is the most significant selling point of my car... Wayne and Romeo. These guys know their rotaries and ecu's. Romeo just broke into single digits by switching to the Wolf 3D system and he hasn't blown a motor yet (knock on wood.) Wayne is an intelligent superb, customer-oriented, tuner. He sits with you and questions EVERY little detail, plus he's honest. Well anyway, after a few other mods, I broke the car in with utmost care and precision. I never revved over 3000 rpms for first 1000 miles. Warm up, cool down... etc. I put about 8-9000 miles on the new motor. Well, after a year and change with my beloved, I decided to remove the impractical body kit and repaint the car. 2004, I took it to my friend's body shop and he did the whole car over. So here I am now...
This is what you get
* Streetported intake & exhaust by T&R Racing
* 3mm Apex seals
* Full Non-Sequential conversion
* Twin-turbos replaced with low-mileage units
* Wolf 3D Engine Management ECU w/ on-board controller
* Apexi FMIC
* Fluidyne radiator
* Downpipe
* Midpipe (resonator really - no cats)
* 3 inch through leading to 2-1/2 inch custom exhaust
* Greddy elbow
* Apexi dual power intakes
* A/F gauge, EGT gauge, Boost gauge
* B&M short shifter kit
* Turbo timer
* MazdaSpeed replica vented hood
* Sprint R steering wheel (same steering wheel as the FC in Initial D)
* Spoiler
* SSR Competitions 17 x 9.5 (rear) 17 x 8.5 (front) with wraps + an extra rear tire
* Stock rims with wraps
* Lowered suspension (previous owner)
* RX-7 strut bar
* Kenwood face - Ipod compatible ready
* New brakes all around (less than 1000 miles)
* Relocated battery
* Silicone hose job
* A/C still there, fixed the condenser a while back, charged frion (sp?)
* Alarm w/ The Club
I'm sure I forgot to mention some upgrades, but you all get the gist. Fuel components are the only thing missing. I've been riding on 7lbs of boost for as long as I've owned my FD.
Some known problems:
* MPH needle not working properly, it has to be resetted properly
* No washer fluid tank
* Horn needs to be rewired
* Hood prop-stick not fastened
All easy fixes, except maybe the speedo.
17.5K Serious buyers, talk to me. I'm a serious seller. PM me with email addy and I'll send you pics.
Lowballers welcomed... so I could know that you're NOT serious and you will save me time, because I won't get back to you.
Thanks all,
Vernon
