i have decided, its gotta go. i dont have the time to do what i need to on this car. my 85 CRX daily driver is about to croak and i've got to get somethin else to drive. the rx7 is goin first because i drive the CRX. im in Durham(45 minutes from raliegh)NC. Its an 87 T2. it has the gold exterior and the burgandy interior which basicly needs a good cleaning throughout. it has 168K on the odometer but the motor was replaced in early 01. the car has front end damage on the passengers side. hte previous owner supposedly became angry with the car and kicked out the windshield. i removed the fender hood and front bumper but i will replace all these except hood at buyers request. i do not have an extra T2 hood but i do have a GXL hood. the motor runs well, not tip top but nothin a good tune up wouldnt work out. it has a set of god aweful 15" 100 spoke wheels on it that could only be the work of- ****, i dont even know who would do that! i can obtain some other stock RX7 wheels. the car mainly needs cosmetic work. the motor trans and rear only have the following common problems-

manifold/turbo gasket is shot- sounds like the exhaust stops at the turbo downpipe because of the gasket.

the shifter bushing is non existant

the rear differential most likely needs a front mount.

the body needs a hood, windshield, headlight assembly(pass side), passengers mirror, dent fixed in rear and drivers side tail light.

the car drives decent except for the differential mount. its pretty quick im sure it would be a shitload faster if the exhaust gasket was fixed because there probably isnt but like half of the gasket left which is deffinently getting rid of some boost.

this is a great car for a project or perfect for someone looking to do a T2 swap- everything is there and try gettin all the parts seperately from a junkyard.
