Wow! What happened to my post? You guys done fightin now? Good! Now shake hands and let's race! Yeah, I ran the 13.4......Car baselined at 13.7 at 104 when stone stock, but ran a much better 60 foot (1.8). Now I am running a 1.9 to 2.1 60 foot with the Kumho's but the launch is tricky......Hop or smoke. Can't get a clean launch. Well, the FD was not designed for drag racing so that is what I get. Now, back to the task at hand......Selling my car! Tell your friends! E-mail the link to your pals........If it goes for 18K I'll give ya a hundred bucks for a finders fee........And by the way, I am firm on the price........this car is clean. Attached is a pic of the car beat me in ASP....Go figure. Oh, and the owner can drive it too!

No fighting, just a missunderstanding. If anything, it keeps your post to the top, LOL

stangkiller, got a link to your car? Must be pretty mean! I will have the only "fast" FD around here when I get mine, since everyone else leaves theres stock :-(

Good luck to the seller again, sweet car!

Hey Slither, sounds like a nice collection of horses! Had a new 95 Cobra and loved it. Wasn't slow, but it wasn't fast either. Had planned on TFS heads and a larger cam, long tube headers and free flow exhaust, as well as new diff gears. All of the good parts were there, just needed to make it breath. Oh, and an S trim Vortech to top it all off! What did you do for the 542 RWHP? Wouldn't mind having a clean 92 LX notchback to trick out..........

How about an 88 notchback allready tricked out Thirdgen. Its allready tricked out.

Here are the mods. Should make about 440ish rwhp with a 125 shot of gas. HEre are the specs.

Here is an add I just placed. Check it out, there are a few pics and a movie about the car there also. Interested in my proposal?

Here are the mods to the Mustang. It will outrun most 600 streetbikes(and some 750's)

This mustang has

a LOT of money invested in it. It will toast most street bikes. Its the

most sought after mustang out there. Here is a list of all the stuff done

to the car. It should appraise over $15K or so. ALso, EVERYTHING I mean

everything on this car is new with less than 5K miles.

Here is the rundown of parts on the car.

Engine

Fresh 302(10K miles) $700

Windage tray $150

New oil pump, rod and main bearings, double roller timing chain, oil pan,

seals $300

Canfeild Heads(2.02/1.6) $1400

Track Heat intake $550

TrickFlow valve covers $150

New push rods $75

1.6 rockers $230

Induction/bolt ons

Accufab 70mm TB $200

C&L Tube $150

C&L 76mm MAF $225

K&N Filter $50

Crank Pully(race)runs cool, charges good $40

COnvertible Motor Mounts $55

Motorsport wires(blue) $40

Aluminum Radiator $230

Kirban Adjustable regulator $75

Walbro 255 intank pump(high pressure) $140

Optima Yellow battery $130

Exhaust

1 5/8 longtubes $200

3" Dr Gas X-pipe $250

3" Mac catback $300

Tranny/clutch/rear/suspension

stock T5-shifts perfect

Steeda Triax shifter $160

Spec Stage 2 clutch, good for 475 RWHP $250

Motorsport Steel Flywheel $140

Aluminum Driveshaft $150

3.73 gears $175

Redone clutch pack $75

Motorsport springs(hooks awsome, and transfers weight perfect)

$200

Wheels/Tires

Like new!!!!

Weld Draglite 15X3.5 and 15X10 $800

PERFECT offset, the wide *** rears fit all under the car like they should

Fronts are skinny's

Rears are 26X11.5 ET Streets $325

Wheels/tires have maybe 200 miles on them and NO passes

Interior

Grey/black interior

Perfect seats(grey/black tweed)

Sony CD player $130

Sony front/dash speakers

Autometer phantom FP gage $40

Fuel Isolator to be safe $150

Comp oil pressure gage $40

Phantom n20 gage $40

Poweradder

Nitrous Express Shark kit $569

Have jets for 35-75, but NX rates theres at the wheels so a 75 shot is about

a 100-110 shot from others.

Bottle heater $150

Bottle blanket $50

Purge $100

Kit is installed neatly, but not hidden.

Exterior

3" cowl hood, bolt on but has pins to be safe $400

new molding from Ford

Extra parts include

Freshly painted Pony wheels with tires $550

KONI Fully adjustable shocks/struts $480

Chassis Engineering control arms $225

Motorsport 24# injectors $200

Sample tube to correclty calibrate the MAF sensor $30

That is $10,869 in parts alone. The car has a BRAND NEW paint job less than

2 weeks old. That was $1700 for it since I went with great grade paint and

its a special color. The color is Silver Frost and I was told it is a

factory Viper color.

That's what I'm talking about! I like the idea of running tens with a car that has 10" wide tires........Quite a challenge. As for picking up you 88, I'll have to pass.......Part of the kick for me is picking out the combination and screwing it together. Also wouldn't mind a 93 Cobra as a starting point. Just have too many cars that I like......So how fast have the third gens been moving on this site? Just found it.....had been on PartsTrader off and on, but there are always a ton of cars out there.

Thanks papasmurf. Your seven sounds pretty cool. Had it long? Would be interested in getting together some weekend and taking a look at it. Also, have you run any autocross in the Chicago area? Have been up in Milwaukee, but not Chi-town. i am up in Fox Lake (west of Gurnee)
