Posted this on the club too...if you are interested please email me at erik@eckosoft.com

1991 Mazda RX-7 n/a

I have owned this car for over 6 years...and during that time it has been 100% loyal and trouble free. I purchased it in May of ’99 with 70K miles...a fresh Mazda rebuild was put in at 67K by the previous owner by a Mazda dealer...I still have receipts from that. Since that time I have done over 25 separate 8 hour road trips in the car...and about 25 separate 4 hour road trips...all with no problems. The only reason I am selling the car is to make room in the garage.

I have been a very meticulous and mature owner...always changing the oil and plugs on time and when needed...and attended to the other misc tuning/parts issues when they came up. Never had any serious issues with the car...just your regular maintenance. I tried to keep what receipts I could overtime for any parts I replaced. Car has never been smoked in. The paint is original...and while it does have its share of some small scratches for being 14 years old...it still shines nicely as can been seen in the pics below. Just replaced the 4piston front calipers with OEM 4piston Mazda rebuilds.

Basics:

- 91 FC n/a – Build date of 5/91 – brilliant black

- 150,000 miles on chassis, Mazda rebuild at 67K

- 5-speed

- Basically a GXL – leather interior, sunroof, rear privacy cover, fog lights

Mods on the car are:

- Bonez cone filter

- Bonez Superflow cat

- Apexi N1 catback (w/optional silencer)

...all of which have been on the car for 5 years. All are still in nice condition.

The car runs great...it could be a daily driver, weekend cruiser, or for the more bold a nice shell for an eventual T2 swap.

Only problems with the car are:

- tear in the driver side seat (see pic below, right along stitching)

- Seatbelts need recall (free @ Mazda...I’ve had it done once before)

- Fog lights need bulb replacement

- A/C needs a recharge

I also have a set of imitation Volk TE-37’s to go with the car if desired. Same mold and Ray’s Engineering stickers...just not as light as the originals. Look great on the car. 17x7’s...+40mm offset, 114.3x5 pattern. w/Yokohama A520 tires / 215/45/17 - See pics below:

If you would like more info about the car or want to check it out, please contact me at erik@eckosoft.com. I would prefer a buyer who can come and pick up the car.

3100 w/rims– or 2800 OBO for just the car. I am located on Northern NJ…about an hour NW of NYC.

Thanks!

winter driven? rust? pic of underbody? rust inhibitor treatments? etc?

Original shocks/springs?

condition of rotors? pads? etc?

What about the electrics? Warning light cluster all checks out? Nothing wrong with dash instrumentation? Logicon works? heat works? rear wiper? sunroof sticks?

wow...all the good 'ol FC specific questions hehe

I drove this car during two winters...the other 4 the car was under a cover in warmer virginia...where I usually took a bus to campus. The undercarraige is fine...no rust. Honestly I never did any rust inhibitor treatments.

Original shocks/springs - yes

Rotors are fine...both the front and rear. In the notes I mentioned I put on OEM remanned calipers...these came complete with new pads as well. Rear pads still have meat left.

Electronics - As mentioned seatbelts do not work. Rear wiper does not work, nor does the antenna go up (both were like this when I bought the car...never fixed them). The intermmittent wipers work on occasion...another FC trait

Hope that helps
