1990 Gxl Black/black In Fla.
#1
Have a 1990 GXl that I bought about a year ago. It blew a coolant hose (and i was about to get that hose replaced too....ugh) and needed a new motor, so I had one built, streetported and installed by a local rotary shop.
Mods and more:
New motor, streetported (20k on it)
New clutch (20k)
New tranny (8k)
LSD rear end - mechanical type
Racing Beat 17lbs light steel flywheel
Racing Beat midpipe/silencer
Corksport SS cat-back
Ported intake manifolds
Throttle body mod
Hawk HPS brake pads (8k)
Stainless steel brake lines (Mazdatrix)
New A/C system (incl. compressor)
Needs:
Paint (faded, spent too much time in the sun without a good coat of wax, much to my dismay)
Tires
Mechanically the car is in very good shape, and some paint would make it look as nice as it runs. Both the air conditioning system and the heat work well, shift smooth and easily, and is very quick for an N/A. I'm selling because I'm trying to get my hands on a sportbike of some sort....
Asking 4200 o.b.o.
