I'm selling my 1988 rx-7, the car started leaking coolant, so I assume the seal is blown, it still runs, but I just want someone to take it off my hands, it someone wants it for parts let me know, first offer takes it, car is located in Redmond, WA. I don't want to bother with parting it out, it has some mods done by the prior owner, but it's pretty much at the state of 'going to die in a few weeks' clean title, if I don't get someone wanting it I'm just going to have it toed to the scrap yard, and I'd rather see it parted out than that.

Car's got ~185k on it, the last owner had a few meetings with something, the driver side has a dented fender, the black trim on the door is also broken and falling off. The passenger side probably got run up on a curb, so the running board has a dent. The doors all open fine, and the frame isn't bent. The interior is clean, the seats feel like they've got a few rather worn areas under the covers (read through to springs).



The mechanical parts are sound other than the billowing white smoke comming out until it heats up and it runs smooth up through that point. I'm expecting that to be the seals, not a cracked block, but I'm not a mechanic, and I can't say one way or another.



I'll post pictures, but this isn't really a car that you'd want to show off without a fair bit of body work, I don't want to set any false expectations, it was going to be a restoration job when I got it, but I've run out of time/motivation to work on it.



It's got some aftermarket parts on it, front swaybar, eibach(?) shocks and springs, K&N cold air intake kit (The one with the filter+metal housing that replaces the air box).



I'm planning on ninjaing the speakers out of it, but I'll leave the alpine amp if you want it, everything is wired to the passenger side cargo cubby.

Still haven't had anyone buy the car yet, so here's my final offer:



Anyone who wants the car for 150 bucks can have it, otherwise I'll part out what I can, and have it toed Friday march 3rd.
