Hello All

I have for sale a 1988 RX7 Turbo 2. Red in color with 60K original Miles!!! This car came with every option available as I'm told. Black leather interior, power windows, power door locks, sunroof, power steering, 6 speaker system with CD player. I'm the third owner of the car and have only upgraded the Tires to Yokohama ES and my suspension to Eibach springs with KYB AGX adjustable shocks ... nothing radical. Oil changed every 2000 miles with 10W-30 Castrol with mazda oil filter. Brake pads changed within the year as well as Spark plugs and wires. I bought the car last year from another Nopistons user with big plans for it after college, however things change . I do have pics and VIN # available to all that is interested. I'm asking $4500 for the car. Please email rlonez@hotmail.com for more info.

The condition of the vehicle is near mint. The only flaws are .. sunroof needs a little push to open on hot days, cd player is not functional, door speakers are shot. I'll be taking my car for another full tune up and inspection this weekend so potential buyers will be assured that this car will be as described.

Regards,

RL

PS

Car is located in NYC

Wow. Nice car. If I was looking for a TII, I would buy that one. Stock is a good thing to me.

Oh, IIRC, all the TII's came with all the leather, power windows, power locks and sunroof. Good luck man. She is a beaut.

Thanks. Just to throw in some more bits about the car. Some of the notorious faults of the TII is the hesitation at 3K rpm and the interior illumination lighting. Both are completely taken care of. The hesitation was already done by a Mazda dealership down in Georgia and the illumination switch and harness was completely replaced as well ... by the way the cruise control on my car is fully functional as well Anyone in the tri-state area should really come and see the car.

Regards,

RL

Hey All,

Thanks for all the interests. Work permitting, I will be taking pictures of the interior tonight. Just for the sake of showing you guys how I found my car on this forum.

Original for sale post

The man's name is John Keller the second owner of the car ... the original owner of the car was his father. I drove down to Georgia from Hartford, CT just to "look" at the car. It was so amazing that I bought it right away. The car is completely adult driven. The car came with some original service documents, black car bra, original owners manual and original Mazda service manual. I have also another set of RX7 carpet that came with the car as well. I'm not on this forum much but maybe a moderator can pull up some old photos from the original post ... because it seems like some old photos of the car was hosted on nopistons.

Regards,

RL

I can't help but feel like I'm to blame.

You should definitely get that car, though.

Is this true? My parts car is a TII with cloth seats. They're not exactly mint, so I figured they were original. Maybe someone plundered the leathers and subbed the cloth ones?

And yes, the car for sale sounds very nice. And while $4500 isn't exactly cheap, the price seems fair given the condition of the car.
