1988 Convertible
up for sale is a decent 1988 convertible.
has no motor, but has rest of drivetrain including good exaust.
interior is decent, exterior is like a 6.5-7/10, only thing taking away from it is the rear bumper's paint is peeling off, I have another bumper
or can even paint the bumper on there if someone likes. Has its BBS wheels on it as well.
I got the car thinking I will swap my motor in there from my car when I remove it, but honestly I have no time
for anything anymore.
Has a garage lien title, I got it after a shop took the motor out and the owner never paid the bill.
So title is clear, not salvaged, it just needs for the new owner to re-title it which I never did.
$500 takes it away.
located in Lindenhurst, New York, 11757.
I also have a 87 TII that could be used as a drivetrain swap vehicle for this car I might consider selling as well.

the parts car is not really a parts car, its a TII that I am not sure if I want to sell.
I will sell both cars for $2000, the TII is worth its weight in parts considering it has every single last piece needed for a turbo conversion right down to the aluminum hood.
I have to dig the vert out for a cleaning and picture session, right now a 40' boat blocks it in from doing that.
OTherwise it is what it is, a decent car with a decent interior, its not perfect- but its still better then 90% of the cars I see out there.
If it was a running car I could get $3000-$3500 locally for it no problem, which is what I might do if the car does not sell in a week. Take the motor out of my other car which I have not driven further then around the block a few times in the last 2 years- put it in this one- sell it running.
I can take pictures of the vert if you are seriously interested in it, unfortunetly it seems alot of people ask for pictures when they are not serious about it, I just went through this with the GXL I sold last year
