Hey all I am trying to sell my 1988 RX-7 Vert that was hit.



Car was hit on the driver side right above the rear wheel well. Pretty much from the top of the wheel well to the bottom of the convertable top was damaged. Top can go down but it makes horrible sounds. Car can be driven but would need a radiator to be driven (gave to my friend). Interior is in pretty good condition minus the carpet. Previous owenr put coupe carpet in and didnt cut it right...the carpet doesnt "tuck in" correctly in 2 places. Dash is in great condition as is the convertable leather seats. The leather onthe seats is in great condition with no cracks...has small fading on drivers side seat tough. Still has Stock BBS wheels w/mazda center caps. Has S5 front bumper,side mirrors and S5 vert tail lights. Miles on the engie are unknown to me. I bought the car and the owner told me it had 30,xxx on a rebuild but I dont think he was telling the truth. Engine has a new altnernator and battery, the engine also had the T/B mod,Racing beat intake (modified to fit) K&N filter. Car has Intrax springs and Tokico adjustable shocks. Car has a full exhaust (not sure on size, was on the car when I bought it) and new mufflers. Mufflers are not performance mufflers, they are cheapo mufflers from meineke, though they are not "ricey" mufflers, there just there regualr ones, though the car does sound good when you get on it. Car does not have a radio or speakers in it, the headrest speakers work but you will either have to buy the stock amp or wire it to the radio you put it in. I had no electrical problems out of the car, everything worked except 1 thing. When you open the driver side door the dome light is supposed to come on....well it doesnt, im not srue why but i never really cared. Also has a grant steering wheel. The car did leak a little oil. i was putting maybe a quart of oil in it every 1-2 months depending on how much I drove it. Transmission shifted fine when droven regulary, but if you pushed the car and the the tranny heated up it would grind when going into 2nd. All the glass is good as is the window motors and rear glass.

Like I said the rear part of the top is damaged on the drivers side, but the center piece is fine. The trunk also has small damage from the wreck, it will still open and close but it takes a little muscle to do so. Car has a small spoiler on it, i thin its pretty tastefull, nothing big or gawdy. Car also has a 6 puck racing clutch installed.



All in all this is a great car with no major mechanical/electrical problems. Would be a great car if someone had the knowledge or money to fix it.
