Just throwing out a feeler before I do any work on the car, its a 1987 GXL, located Long Island New York, has all the options except leather. Adjustable suspension, 4 pistons brakes, 5 lug wheels, etc... ITs charcoal grey with maroon interior, the interior is in great shape, Im having a seat guy sew up the bolster on the drivers side ( the one that wears thru on every RX-7 out there, this one the seam split though) before the car gets sold. It runs very good and is quiet,meaning it will pass emissions no problem, I was going to get a New York state inspection before the car gets sold, as well as the following before selling it: changing the oil/filter as the previous owner had flooded it out pretty good before I got it, new plugs, coolant and thermostat. Has a new fuel filter and air filter as well. It drives good from what I have driven it. I will also detail the car out, I used to own my own detail shop, so this isnt a biggie. It has no major body damage, the usual dings, although they are only on the passenger door, at one time before I got the car the other side must have been fixed as there isnt a dent in the drivers side at all. I thought about keeping it, but I already own another RX-7 convertible, as well as a convertible seven that needs a motor, a jeep, and a Lexus, there just isnt any more room for this car.Any questions shoot me a pm. Like I said, I dont think there will be a problem for me to sell this car in the newspaper, I just figure I would see if anyone from the board, or someone they know, wanted the car. It has 110,000 miles by the way. Tires are great, no need for replacement there. Here are some pics, the car is wet in them by the way: I am asking $1800 but I am very negotiable of course, the more I fix, the higher the car will be, like if I was to paint the whole car, but honestly the paint is in better shape then most I have seen for the year, so keep that in mind when you ask questions

I probably wouldnt be comfortable selling it for another week or so, I want to get it on a lift and make sure everything is in order underneath, I dont want to stick anyone with a piece of ****, but so far it looks good, just needs some T.L.C

I got a guy coming by tomorrow to look at my car. Then I have to decide what to do... rebuild my 2 cars I got now or buy another one and rebuild the other 2 down the line....

Ill take more pics when I get the seat and the door panels back from the interior guy, this is the extent of my advertising this car right now, so I dont think its going anywhere anytime soon, its no show car mind you, but after a good cleaning, it will be in the better range then most out there.

as long as there are no major tears and everything is in decent working order. If I got the car it would need to be up to abuse of daily driving. Though I do take care of my cars.

I won't be buying anything else for at least a month, but if you still have it then, I'll see what I can do. It's about twice what I wanted to spend, but it looks to be worth it.

Since getting the car, I just have had NO time to deal with it at all. Jim is putting a engine in my spare convertible, side jobs that need to be done, and now I got to paint my Lexus after its accident. Figure a good 2-3 weeks before I will even look into the car again, so Ill keep you posted, and Ill post the pics of the interior, engine compartment, etc.. after I clean it all up.
