OK I bought this car to fix up but no time so I have to sell...

First of all it runs and drives well. It is sometimes hard to start due to possibly flooding the carb but I think that may be a problem with early rx-7's.

The original color was yellow but some chucklehead painted it poorly a "racing green" or dark green. It definitely needs repainting. Also, the hood front panel and headlight cover were swapped from a red car. As for that, the swap was done poorly and so may need to be adjusted, fixed, etc. Front left fender has a dent as well. Basically the car is mechanically sound. The guy bought it from said he spent a bunch of money rebuilding the engine and it is very clean and smooth idling (12A I believe) It is strong and pretty fast as far as I'm concerned. The add coolant light does come on occasionally but It seems to be an electrical issue and not a cooling issue as it stays in the normal range and the coolant is full. Basically this car just needs someone to tinker with the body and interior and they will have a nice car. Depending on what kind of paint job you got you could get it looking nice with very little investment. I would like to get $500 considering its mechanical condition but I would be interested in any offers. yea i was going to say... my 14 yr old brother is kind of interested because he wants an rx-7 but we kinda needs some pictures the only real prob. is that we live in illinois. Um... so if you could post some pictures that would be cool.
