[quote name='powerlover' date='Aug 28 2005, 12:20 AM']You know..it really pisses me off that this thread has been here for almost two months. Nobody has been unpleasent untill now. I bought this car from a junkyard WITHOUT A MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION!!!! IT WAS DESTINED TO BE CRUSHED. I breathed new life into it. I made it more reliable, better looking, better sounding, more economical, cheaper to work on, easier to work on, definately faster, and now it has torque on demand....something that every rotary lacks. I chose the RX-7 because it is an awesome platform with a TON of research into it that was way ahead of its time. I just improved on Mazdas design.

I came to YOUR side of the world and started changing YOUR cars huh? The last time I checked these cars belonged to whoever held the title. That would make this MY car not yours. I will do whatever I want to to ANY car I own and will NOT stand to take any lip from some little punk behind a keyboard that thinks HE is the center of HIS little world that I have intruded on!!

Please pick another thread to spew your hatred on and let me sell my car.

Thank you....

Your torque assumption leaves much to be desired. Research the curves of a 3 or 4 rotor and see if your statement still remains valid. V8 swaps by nature **** most of us off to some sort of extent.

and how many of us have 3 or 4 rotors? the rotary is not known as an engine with alot of low end power.

it's a clean car, and the swap looks very well done. good luck with the sale, and don't listen to the idiots.

You are not telling me anything that i dont already know. But you are referring to a motor that mazda NEVER put in an rx7. Also you would have to spend several factors more money than i did in order to have a 3 rotor motor with my on hand torque.

I am not replying to any more childish banter. If you want to buy my car or ask a question feel free but, If you dont, then please go away.

Well, I really wasn't trying to make waves here, just stating that your assumption about torque was wrong. Me personally, I don't give a **** what you did to your car, a V8 swapped RX-7 will obviously appeal to someone and you should have no trouble selling the car. I was pointing out why people were responding negatively... Edit: So I'm sorry if it came across wrong.

No prob...thanks for being cool about it.

I just get frustrated when i am plain and simply trying to sell a really nice car, and people try to start stuff. I mean it would be one thing if my add were cocky and poking fun at the rotary, but its not.

Which is why I didn't say anything negative. We've got a local cop here doing a V8 swap into an FC, his is a piece of crap though.

Car looks great, clean swap, good luck with your car. And I would LOVE to do a V8 swap into an FC. IF I was in the same boat as you were, and I had another FC along side it with it's original engine in it.

Good luck with the sale.

Well boo-******* hoo, maybe it's just some insight as to why nobody is knocking down your door to buy YOUR car, if it had a turbo rotary conversion it would have sold already, no reason to be pissed off at other people's opinions, it's YOUR problem, you deal with it.
