Wtb: Fd Throttle Body & U.i.m.
#1
Hey guys,
This is Vince from Wicked Rides in Sudbury Ontario. I have a FC and I just got my 89 JDM motor in. While it's out I'm going to do as much as I can to it. For the intake I hear that this is pretty much the only thing to do. The FC LIM to the FD UIM w/ the FD T/B. If anyone has what I am looking for please let me know! Oh yeah, to adapt the two together, there's obviously a custom adapter that's needed. Do is use a FC LIM gasket and on the other side of the custom adapter use a FD UIM gasket? Hope I can get some good respones to this.
Thanks,
Vince

Not sure what to tell you on adapting them together. I do have a FD Jet hot coated UIM with the double throttle removed and block off plate added for $120 plus shipping and paypal fee. This may seem high but not really when you figure I paid for the coating plus the shipping to the coaters and back plus the cost of the UIM, so if you'd rather I also have a stock UIM for $80 also with the double throttle removed, plus shipping and paypal fee

IIRC, use the LIM Gasket and port the UIM to match. You will also need to move some of the bolt holes (mind went blank on terms, here) about 1-2cm to the right. These holes are the ones that, when the UIM is placed on the LIM, are "Under" the UIM instead of on the "outside". Apologies if this is confusing.
