Try being a but more specific on what your looking for.. Drag race, street, auto-x, etc? IS your motor ported? stock IC?, What ECU?... the turbine wheels and housings are all very different per your application and if your still running the stock ecu and want to run a T60-1 or whatever, you'll need to address that too.....

A big turbo is a T88 or Y2k, etc... T60-1's aren't that big but will still make great all around HP...

fc3sboy1 05-13-2005 07:52 PM

call majestic turbo. tell them you want a hx51/t64 with a 1.00 a/r on the hot side with a devided housing and v-band clamp. you will love that thing, i do its a great street or track turbo. and its huge

The reason I asked all that is to verify your ECU can run the big turbo.. What you listed for gear is a big help.... Personally with a half bridge port you can go much larger turbine because your A/R is much greater, however if your only looking for 450-500hp a T60-1 will do the job AND the HKS manifold will bolt right on. I have the T60-1 .70 comp and 1.00 A/R w/ large single port, and its power is amazing. 10psi will get you 390-410rwhp and 18psi will get up closer to 500rwhp.. I think 21-22psi is about max on it, but I have seen guys running 30psi w/ T60-1..

On the other hand Kevin Wyum ran 10.89's with the stock twins.... He's a MN guy too... His car is a masterpiece! You are from MN aren't you?

fc3sboy1 05-14-2005 02:55 PM

a to4s on a stock port fc t2 motor @18psi has made 433 @ the wheels with great responce.

Kevin Wyum is ASP racing which sold the rights to his intercooler design to Mostly Mazda/M2... He hasn't had stock twins for years and now runs BBT-66 x 2 turbos...Ya! wow!

1Revvin7 05-14-2005 08:04 PM

He has a full bridge with Twin T66's last I heard https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Back on track:

Get a T66 with atleast a P trim 1.15 a/r, but I would run a 1.32 Q trim https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Divided Tang ofcourse:)

I think a 1.32 A/R is way to big for 2 rotor period, unless its a drag only car.. 1.32 is for 3 rotors baby! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png and it would suck on the street.... A 1.00 or 1.15 is plenty...

Just a half bridge port. idles at 2k... Sounds like a quiet top fuel drag car.
