Wanted S4 Computer

S4's came first, right? I have an '86 the first year Gen 2. Would that be an S4? I need an ECU! I got one off of another 7, but it didn't work. The other car worked before I got the part! The only thing that I can think of is that it came from an S5.

s4 wiring harness will not plug into an s5 computer, and vice verca. if the other car worked with the computer that you have in your car now, and your car is not working. then you have something else wrong with your car
