I got a set of BBS wheels so I am going to sell my Volks.

they are 17x8 +35.

These are a 2 piece wheel.

They are not perfect, but they can be used as-is no problem at all.

By not being perfect I mean the lips have some SLIGHT curb rash here and there, but they are not bent, only a little rubbing. One wheel has the paint slightly bubbling around the center, the rest seem to be in much better shape. All center caps are included.

I was going to take these apart and restore them, but I got a set of BBS instead so I really have little use for these wheels now.

I have these boxed up and ready to go, $700 shipped with no fees, local pick up is encouraged and will result in a better price.

If you do not have the local resources I can have the lips repaired, the clear stripped, and mirror polished, I will get you a estimate and let you know the price, give me a $500 deposit and I will take care of it for you.

these are all 4 wheels, the first picture is what I consider to be the worst.

I just realized I put the same picture of one wheel twice, I will correct that tomoroww when im back on my work computer.

I have pictures of all 4 wheels, I just took some twice to make sure I would get a good clear picture.

I am seriously interested, just a few questions though, what is the red deal around the center section, and what is the weight per wheel....

more info on the wheels:

RAYS Volk Racing GT-U Wheels -

These are a forged two piece aluminium wheel. They are made from the finest aircraft grade 6061 aluminium. Each part of the wheels is made by a process called hot forging. A solid piece of aluminium billet is heated and is shaped applying compressive force from a press.

The 1st forging process is performed with a pressure of 5,000 kg’s per cm2. In the 2nd forging process 3,500 kg’s are applied per cm2. The lip is also forged to 3,500 kilograms per cm2. Forging refines the grain structure and improves the physical properties of the metal. With the advanced RAYS design process the grain flow can be oriented in the direction of principal stresses encountered in actual use. Grain flow is the direction of the pattern that the crystals take during forging. Physical properties (such as strength, ductility and toughness) are much better in a forging than in the base metal, which has crystals randomly oriented. The excess material left on the wheel is then machined off (to tolerance of 1/100 of a millimetre). Powder coating and clear coating is done by a special proprietary process to ensure long lasting quality and durability.

This is why forged wheels can be made much lighter and stronger than an equivalent cast wheel, as less material can be used for a much higher equivalent strength. Cheap wheels are gravity cast, and during this process microscopic air bubbles form in the casting, weakening the structure further over the original material.
