I'm going to build my own TID, once I get the stock one that I bought off someone, so that I can put the MAF in the stock place.



And I found a turbo company that sells silicone cuplers, and they are only like 2 bucks a piece, and with T band couples. So I will just buy a 180 degree mandrell bend for 20 bucks, some silicone cuplers, and T band clamps, Then put one weld in it, and polish it. And have my own for like 30 bucks. And the MAF will sit level (which is why I am not crazy about yours), along with the fact that I could sell it to people with or without the stock air box. And I will try to sell a couple of them if they aren't a trouble to make.





So by the way, anyone want to buy one of these?

It is just the CORE, pretty much the only things that are missing are the intake and exhaust.





And it is NOT a drop in replacement, it needs a rebuild. Because it has bad compression.

 

yeah i have the intake exahust and everything else. I'm jsut looking for a short block, what you call the core. Basically the essential engine. What was the reason it failed? how are the rotors and housings?

If someone wants it, and since there doesn't seem to be a huge demand for TII steel hoods, I'll take $125, that seems really fair to me since some guy was trying to sell one for 300 not to long ago (but he was smoken something )

 

where is this place that sells silicone for $2??? How many ply are they and out of what material?
