This was my personal setup, but I have decided to go another way with my car. I will post other threads with the other big parts, to keep things simple. Everything is currently installed and has about 85 breakin miles on it...I rarely get to drive this car, and it hasn't even been tuned yet. The reasons I am selling:
1) after I collected and assembled these parts, I realized I really have NO ONE to tune any of it. So I have thousands invested in a car that is useless to me.
2) I can meet my power goals with a more conservative setup.
3) I am saving for a new shop, and proceeds from this will help with that.
-This turbo setup was custom for an FC. This setup is said to be capable of 400rwhp or better. I bought the turbo from a forum member who is also a garret turbo dealer (to my understanding). The turbo was brand new. IT now has 85 miles of light use. Never seen over 5psi. Here are specs:
*T04e .60 A/R compressor housing.
*T04e 60 trim compressor wheel
*standard Garrett cast aluminum back plate
*Dynamic seal
*360 thrust option
*Wet center option
*P-trim T4 turbine wheel
*.96 A/R On-Center Turbine housing with cast 4-bolt discharge
*turbine housing to manifold gasket
* DP flange and gasket
The manifold is actually from an FD, but with the on center housing used on the turbo above, it fits the FC no problem. Same deal with the manifold, 85 miles of light use.
*OBX 100% T304 Stainless Steel 13b turbo manifold. 61 mm main runners, T4 flange and HKS style waste gate flange.
The wastegate is an HKS standard (42mm I believe) with (I believe) a 10lb spring. I bought this used from another forum member. IT is in great shape. INcludes spare flange and gasket.
The downpipe is a custom exhaust shop special, but it does the job. IT is basically 3" pipe, and is made to bolt to a RB turbo back system (replaces that system's downpipe, and bolts directly to the RB presilencer). IT may need to be shortened for other systems, or you can buy yourself a 3" flange and run the rest of your new exhaust however you want from there back. The downpipe does have an 02 sensor installed. The welds on this aren't the best in the world, but it gets the job done and doesn't leak. Note that this was made to bolt to the wastegate as well, so that when it opens, the waste gases are sent into the exhaust, not dumped to atmosphere...so this setup is quiet at all times.
The oil and coolant lines are all new SS braided. I have about $225 in adaptors, connectors, and flanges, and hose. Running -6an from the stock block oil supply to the turbo, with an inline restrictor inside the turbo inlet adaptor. Running -12an oil drain to the block (s5 turbo drain location, hose can be shortened to suit others). Running -6an coolant line in and out, with double clamps on each end.
Altogether I have about $1600 in this setup.
