Just retired from the military and thought that finally my retirement present was going to be a fast yellow 79 RX-7. But after working with the last two puertorican mechanics who I question their integrity and honesty. I am fed up with the same stories of "good mechanics and bad mechanics" line over and over. I am selling all aftermarket stuff out of my car to go back to stock.

Holley 600 tricked out for a 13B old school 4 port. This Holley still looks new, since I bought brand new. Used very little. $300

Turbo 2 tranny modified to fit in a 79 RX-7. You must get a shifter made offset since my " glorious mechanic never did it or told me until it was too late for me"

This includes RX-4 bellhousing. $500 will include tranny mount also.

13B old school 4 port. (GSLSE Housings and rotors and 12A side housings )streetported but low compression, starts and runs. Supposedly 60 psi on one rotor and 65 on another. Motor was previously built about two years ago, spent 15 months at a shop and you know the rest $500

T2 driveshaft made for first gen RX-7, paid $330, sell for $250, this a brand new driveshaft with new ends, replaceble U joints and balanced.

Mariah reat hatch $500 shipped anywhere in the USA.

Holley nitrous system for Holley 4 barrell. Make offer.

e-mail direct at jerry12315@***.net as I don't frequent the forums as much because of the crap with the rotary stuff. I have other priorities right now with my life.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have heard nothing but good things about Ito. Is he one of the gentlemen you aren't happy with?

I want to keep this on subject. I am selling parts off the car. Let's put it this way, I am not *****ing happy with the car, the time it spent up there, the BS I had to go through, to get my car back with a low compression engine, that I know for sure wasn't like that. If I was to do it all over, I would never take my car to a shop unless everything is written in paper, professional manners, etc. I am going stock because I want to salvage the little beauty left on the car.

Long story short, I heard the same sh*t. But now I am fully disappointed in the BS that I received. I shouldn't merit it being a paying customer. I would never take my *****ing car to New Jersey again. The car looks like it aged 5 years since being up there to come back with souvenirs and a perfect electrical installation that I consider a six year old can do. You will see pics here in this message. Point Blank.

People, if you are not buying parts for the car, please don't ask the story. If you want recommendations, do the crap yourself or take it somewhere that you can keep an eye on your car. From my experience, don't take your car to Jr's Rotary Performance unless you want to go with my ordeal.

If anybody doubts me, they can give me a call, as I don't have sh*t to hide. PM for number if you are serious.

Let's bump this, Tomorrow I will be pulling the engine out and see what kind of damage my engine went through when it was in New Jersey. I would'n't be surprised if there were apex seals missing just like my CD Player, my alternator with double pulley, my battery etc.....

Still have parts.

the welds look hot, are those the evil 4x110 bolt pattern stock on the 79 or the 4x114.3 from the GSL-SE? What size, width and offsett are they? They may not be for sale, but Im intrested so I can buy some for my 80. Most Puerto Ricans I know that deal with the rx's tend to be secretive about what they know, like we cant just pick up a book or ask someone else. Sorry to hear bout dealing with the PR mechanics, Ive had similar mishaps in the past and since then been reading, searching, practicing and pretty much doing all the work myself. I may bust a few knuckles and it may take longer than what I want but when its done its worth it. If it works I feel great, if it doesnt then hey at least I screwed it up and not someone else..........my 2cents anyway. Hope it all works out for you. If its not a secret...hook me up with the weld wheel info.

cool X-mas tree on fire in my yard....call it stress relief...lol

The welds are 15 x 3.5 and 15 x 7. I do not know the offset, I believe they are the same offset as a mustang. I just dropped a 13B motor stock in the car. I can't finish it until my cousin from New York leaves. I will let you know how it goes. So far I noticed the old engine has some warped apex seals. A sign that tell me that somebody abuse the crap out of it and it wasn't me. It was Judge Ito..

Im sorry for what happend My friend went to the same hassle that u did. He has a Rotary turbo mazda pickup and pritty much the same thing happend to him. when he got the truck back there was a big dent on the rear quarter and he had a flat tire. Dont get me wrong but Ito does some great work but i would never go there because of the abuse i heard of the customer cars. Well good luck with the beautiful 79 rx7.
