Yep, that covers it!

Don't worry Tony, it's one of those things that's hard to believe. I mean really, how much leg room could there possibly be?

Take care to you all, Tom

what year is the FD? I want 99 brakes!!!

onboost 03-03-2003 02:37 PM

oops, i didn't see it was a 93, nevermind =P

JT-Imports 03-03-2003 03:16 PM

Ok Jimmy... My wife said you PMed, I just got to work 45 min drive.hehe

On the 99spec brakes. Can someone tell me the difference? I looked in my 96-98 book

and my 99-02 book and the brakes are exactly the same. NOW granted the SpiritRs are

differen, no doubt. BUT when I looked Mazda has been making 17 rotors at least since

96, and also 16 rotors too, but the part numbers havent changed, but the price went

up a little.

So whats the diff? Or is just 99 the way to say it?

onboost 03-03-2003 03:26 PM

the caliper is the same, they share the same brake pads as well. But they but the mount on the caliper farther out, it can accomodate the bigger rotor.
