We are seeking 2 NSU Wankel # 1880 rotary engines - Preferably NIB, that were made by or for Graupner.

These are 37.41cc and develop nearly 5 HP. Will pay reward for information that leads to our purchase. Please email jim@thermofan with information.

Thanks

No those are 1.6 HP units and they are readially available. The one I'm looking although "teeny" by automotive standards is much 'bigger' @ 2.7 cu. in. and makes 5 HP

Thanks for looking. The particular engine you referenced is typical if the 5cc OS engine that is readily available in high end RC model shops. The engine we are seeking was made in a very limited production run Story goes that the manufacturer mis-read the order and built 50cc engines instead of 5cc engines, others say the engine was built for lawnmowers. Hobby Lobby bought a quantity of them some time back but there supply is long gone. We are thinking there are some out there laying around unused and we want to get our hands on 2 to prove concept, before embarking on a massive development project.
