I would get another tranny, swap it in a afternoon, and keep using the car and not take it to the track anymore until you get the funds, the time, and the parts for

your swap.

Seems a little stupid to part a car out because of the tranny

biggie your a fool. you can get a n/a tranny for $100 why don't you just swap them?
