Hi all,



First let me introduce myself. My name is Keith and I'm generally a Honda tuner. I've always had a passion for older body sport compacts mostly the Conquest TSI, Acura Integra, Toyota MR2 and RX-7. I'm not too fmailliar with the rotory power but know enough. I currently own a boosted '91 Integra with a '98 spec JDM motor.

Now onto the good stuff. I have an '87 Turbo RX-7 that I'm parting out. It is complete but I will make a list below of parts that are no longer available. Other than the parts listed in this thread which I will update every time I sell a part, you can consider that I still have the part for sale. Bascially read below and if it's not in the list than I have it.



Not to sound like a d**k but please only contact me if you are truly interested in the part. We've all played the parts game and 90% of the time it's only someone contacting you because: 1 - they're hoping to get that remarkable deal that only comes every thrid birthday, 2 - really need the part and are wishing that god will erase from the memory of the seller how valuable the part is, 3 - a newbie tuner who wants a part but when it really comes down to it, mom and dad just won't up his/her weekly allowance, or 4 - someone who just has nothing better to do. I can take pictures of parts but the car is at my buddy's place as it's his car I'm parting out for him. I'm more into cars than he is and so he asked me to take over for him. In regards to pictures, I can take some, but I'm only taking apart the car as a part is requested so if your part is burried in the car than I'll do my best to snap a shot however I can't remove it until I know it's sold.

How much does it weigh, 18lbs? If someone can give me a figure on that you can estimate shipping.

Let's say $125 shipped. I guess that's about right. Again, I'd rather anyone looking for parts just to go with whatever carrier they want and arrange shipping. I'll gladly drop off parts to the local UPS or USPS as long as they arn't too big or heavy. Obviously that doesn't apply to you, but for the long block / short block, transmission, driveshaft, rear end, body parts, etc I'd rather peeps arrange UPS to come to my house and pick the parts up.

Naw bro, it's cool... I would shop aound too. To be honest, I havn't the foggiest idea on the value of a stock flywheel for the Turbo II. I'm just going by common knowledge from my car. If that's the going rate than for sure... Next time a guy wants the flywheel, I'll know what to charge him/her. It's cool, I didn't think you cam accross the wrong way.



The reason I'm parting it is because it is worth more in pieces than straight up. The car had an upper control arm repair about six months ago that the owner realized half way through he didn't know what he was doing, so from that moment on it has been sitting. Needless to say it has collected a lot of dirt, dust, etc from sitting plus it has a busted windshield and passenger side window from his brother. So overall, the car would have to have the rear end put back together and one hell of a detail to get what it's worth. Otherwise it's just another parts car...

I actually don't have the part yet, nore have I ordered it...just sittin on it for now.

I don't yet know if the flywheel is an S4 or S5...that's what I'm waiting on.

Im quite interested in buying the tranny and the engine. i have an 82 and i wanted to do an engine swap to a turbo and it would be a lot cheaper to buy used engine with tranny then to try and piece the **** together. what would u want for the both of them? if u need to u can contact me at my email gr8_usmc@yahoo.com thanks

I'm asking $1,000 for the complete motor, tranny and ECU. You wouldl have to arrange shipping though and to be honest, I really don't want to pull the parts from the car. I'd rather get a local sale on them and have the buyer pul them. 1 - so their is no discrpancy (sp). And 2 - I just don't want to go through the hassle of it. I will, but I'm going to have to charge someone if I have to do it... only fair...

I've got about three sales pending on it so whoever sends the loot first wins. But here's the deal...



I'm asking $1,000 for the complete drive train from front to rear. That does not include shipping. I'm offering for the buyer to contact any shipping client he / she would like to use so this way the buyer gets the BEST possible shipping costs he / she could find. OTherwise I'm just going to go with the first freight company on my list.



However, I'm also offering the entire car for $1,200. This way the buyer can pull the motor, tranny, etc... and then part out the rest of the car to make some of his / her money back. It also saves me the trouble of removing the engine from the car. And another option is any buyer who would like to pull the engine from the car itself is more than welcome to and I will lessen my asking price.



Bascially I'm going to keep parting it out until the entire car is sold or it's got no remaining valuable parts on it. The car is pretty much complete but read my ::UPDATES:: posts to see what has been sold. Some of the boards allow me to edit my posts so it will always be in my first post.
