Hey guys, I am looking for a decent motor and tranny. I am thinking turboII motor with manual tranny. I want to put it into my Triumph Spitfire. You guys have any better ideas? Cost for good condition motor/tranny?

 

I have my s4 n/a set up for sale right now. I was 2500 for the motor/tranny wiring harness. If you would like more info on what I have let me know.

 

I sort of new to the 2nd gen. engines. I am more familiar with the FD. With that said, what HP would I get out of and n/a S4 motor? For that $2500 would you say that it would be a simple drop in with no repairs to do?

 

Dyno sheet. Higher # is on a 50 shot. AFR's were great through the two runs.



That was last year about this time, car has only had about 100 miles on it since then.



The only thing you would really need is a new shifter as my bushings are toast. No repairs needed motor only has about 20k on it, tranny has less than 10k on a rebuild. Then the only thing you would need to buy is a header, as I am going to sell the exhaust as one piece,

 

I am also looking for an N/A motor as well for my 86 Rx7. If you have any ideas where I can get one at a good price I would greatly appreciate it. thanx

 

I would sell my entire drivetrain and exhaust cheaper than you can get a motor built for.
