Take the arms off a head unit and it bolts right up.

Also PR sells a nice unit that is not welded for ~45.00

But if you bolt it straight onto the stand, it will not be centered, making it harder to rotate the engine. Although I was unaware that you could even do that, I thought the adapter was a necessity.

Uh, You do not need an adapter, i did mine right on the egine stand just as banzaitoyota mentioned.

My engine stand was $40 or so from harborfrieght.com.



I had no problem whatsoever rotating the engine while it was on the stand.

It sits perfectly straight without any adaptor.

You guys are thinking into this way to much..

Here either, as you can clearly see the whole thing stayed on the stand just fine..
