Our new vented hood is ready to get sent off to mold!! I am going to be taking more pictures soon to show the lip up in front of the front vent. I know you can't tell from these pictures, but there is a .75" to 1" tall lip there. These were just shitty angles for the pictures. I apologize about that. I have some good news about your request. We are planning on making a CF trunk lid for the vert. It won't be until after the first batch of hoods have been shipped, but we are going to make them. I'll be sure to PM you with more specific details once I get them. But start getting a list of names that want one together and PM it to me. You can also email it to me at Zach@5one5innovations.com

Just an update. I have 3 sunroofs and 5 gauge pods still in stock as of right now. I might be out of both for about a week, but after that my stock will be built back up.

I don't have any money for car parts right now, but I'm just curious: What's the smaller vent for in the hood? The placement of it looks like it should have some specific purpose, but I'm not sure what that is.

We put the smaller vent on the hood so that there would be a bit of added heat relief over the turbo/exhaust mani area. It is nothing major, but every little bit helps. One thing with all of our products is that you'll never see something on a product that serves no functional purpose. What do you think of the hood by the way?
