Hey y'all. I was in San Antonio over the weekend visiting my girlfriend and had my 1991 FC Vert broken into. They took everything valuable that wasn't bolted down, and my insurance doesn't cover theft. I'm in need of all the following parts:
-Convertible top (they slashed mine to pieces trying to get in)
-Center dash vents
-Center radio surround
-Not sure what to call it, but the piece underneath the dashboard on the drivers side that the hood latch cable connects to(they destroyed this by ripping it off while trying to hotwire the car)
-trunk carpet
-jack kit
-owners manual
-Black dash in good shape
-good used radar detector
-idiot light bezel
-radio(the original in working condition if anybody has one)
In addition to the parts listed here, they stole my battery, about $500 worth of tools, gift cars, my front license plate, my registration, my radio, and very sentimental locket. Lesson learned convertibles don't really lock. I disabled the car by pulling the EGI fuse and the idle control valve hose, so luckily they weren't able to steal the car when they screwdriver the ignition. I'm just happy that my girlfriend and I are safe, and my car is still here.
