what engine was it mounted too? meaning what counterweight does it have?

 

The flywheel is for a second gen, there is no counterweight. It is a one piece unit developed by HKS for Mazda's factory effort in World Challenge in the late eighties. The unit weighs 12lbs including the counterweight which is part of the casting, not a seperate piece. No pics, I'll try to borrow a digital camera next week if the parts do not sell. Carl

 

if the counterweight is integral with the flywheel, i'm going to have to ask what year 2nd gen and what model it came off of.



S4(87 to 88) and S5 (89 to 91) turbo models use different rotors with different comp and different weights, so the counterweight has to match it correctly...

200.00 is not shipped, so 200.00 picked up. No counterweight to buy, and roughly 1/2 the price of a new one(which is what it should be as a used performance part). I am located in Windsor which is an hour and twenty minutes from you, I work in petaluma which is a little closer for you, if you want. For less than 200.00 I'd keep it for a spare.
