dont have the time and patience unfortunately to manage somethin like that...

and the venue id be providing wouldnt interest folks anyway... road course or perhaps autocross..

and considerin the complaints on costs last year.. doubt anyone would shell out the expense for this type of event..

They won't, if you charge enough to make it worth your while people will bitch constantly. Look at all the "rotary events" that had course events.... they've all but dissappeared. Also to ANYONE thinking of taking the reigns, assuming vosko wants to go that route, I am sure he'll will issue a similar warning, running an event like this is pretty much like running this crap hole, not only is a thankless job, you'll have people bitching at you no matter what you do and you better be ready to take more abuse then the thanks you get in return. The road to agony is no doubt paved with good intentions, but thick skin and the ability to be an ******* when necessary are far better traits then good intentions (yes, I know you yer saying to yourself I posses both and yer right )

It would be sad to see the event go away, but i understand and wouldn't hold anything again jon for hanging it up.

true phins.. missin the late 90s when the rotary road course events were abundant..

clientele back then... for the lack of a better description.. were mature

although theres a handful that may remember the last rotary track event debacle in the late nineties that cost a lot of folks hundreds..

me included.. needless to say.. that was the start of the downward spiral of track events available for rotary enthusisasts..

minus of course.. the mazdarivers events bein held every year...

hmmmnn.. theres an idea..

Well it did start as a bbq, then car show/bbq, then car show, then car show/track day and then....
