OK, I just got home (without a speeding ticket!). Lets all post our thanks here and show Vosko and Turbovr6 our appreciation for another job well done!

Thanks guys, I had a great time! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

BrandonDrecksage 06-27-2004 06:24 PM

yeah...i had a great time....thanks guys

Judge Ito 06-27-2004 06:25 PM

I had a great birthday. Jay's car looked awesome. Charles 3rd gen was very impressive looking with the fat wheels the car was sporting in the back. Rob's convertible was the cleanest I've seen. Nice to meet phinsup and his wife Amy. Nice to see Justin and Drew all over again. Brian "Rx Midget" won for vintage and was well deserving. I was blown away by the Rx midget.

Nice to see Ed made it fine. Over all it was the best rotorfest so far in my opinion. O nice to see Vosko doing something for the Rx community..

FiKsE l2X SeVeN Jr 06-27-2004 06:32 PM

this was definatly a great rotorfest, especially on my first one. Big thanks to Jay....

FikseRxSeven 06-27-2004 06:41 PM

although it was depressing to me..... it was freaking awesome to see all the great rx7's and other rotoaries out there..... i had a great time and came home with the meanest farmers tan

many thanks to jay

vosko 06-27-2004 06:49 PM

i thought it went pretty smoothly as always next year will be bigger better etc as much as we can

phinsup 06-27-2004 06:54 PM

Very good time, nothing could have made the event a bigger success, lots of cars, lots of people lots of fun.

I tried to to meet everyone, I got out and about and found a few people that hadn't wondered to the booth. We sold all the shirts I brought, gave away a ton of the shotglasses and lanyards, not much to take home LOL

There's so many people I'm glad I got to meet at the event that I don't even know where to begin and so many great cars I would have a hard time singling any out. RX-Midget's car was unbelievable a great swap. I hope everyone had as great of a time as we did, thanks to all that made it possible, showed up, participate and voter.

Very happy to have been a part of the event and enjoy the hospitality of everyone I met.

Rob x-7 06-27-2004 07:16 PM

No No,

Thank You everyone, I hope you all had a great day!! Special thanks to all the people that voted for me. It was nice to come home with 2 awards!!!!.

Considering the giant task I undertook doing the show this year, all the planning, preparing, etc. it truly was alot of work for me.

Thanks to Vosko for helping me count the 500 voting ballots!!!!

I had a great time for my first. Thanks very much for the great event.

Pre party was wonderful and I hope everyone got to meet the "canadians", great couple of guys. Lets just pray that their jetta gets them home safely!

I hope to be able to show mine next year.

Thanks again.

brap brap brap...

Yea I didn't get to talk to ArmyOfOne as much as I'd have liked, or the guys that got stuck at the sattelite table, but I was glad we did the pre-party, got to talk to Jay a bit which would have been much hardy once the big event got under way, I'm sure there's a hundred other people I didn't get to talk to, but I tried to run a good balance of getting out and meeting the guys that were sticking with their cars and watching the booth as it would fill up. I think everytime I got talking to someone 6 or 7 people walked by with Nopistons.com shirts on that I never saw again LOL

A huge thanks to everyone that showed their support for NP, I saw lots of shirts and lots of stickers and even some shirts that I had never seen with Nopistons.com on them (made me want one).

Dave 88 A.E 06-27-2004 10:48 PM

Definately a good time it was my first Rotorfest and will not be my last. I wish I could have made it out to the preparty but work wouldn't allow it.

This show got my friend wanting to do his VW rabbit truck rotary hybrid really bad so he can have it at next years show.

I didn't get to meet to many people but I was pretty busy checking out all the cars and forgetting to take pics of most of them

rotarychainsaw 06-27-2004 10:52 PM

Yeah awesome job jay and vosky. I once again want a fast 7 wooo.

SPEED_NYC 06-28-2004 12:51 AM

great event as usual guys, thanx for putting in the time and effort jay and jon. i had a great time as did the rest of the Smokin Joe Racing guys. i think we spend most of the drive back to long island talking about the RX midget and the yellow FD from acosta motorsport. everyones cars looked great, made me really wish i had mine out there, but theres always next year.

got to meet lots of forum members including the man himself, phins. overall it was a great time

see you all there next year!!

TheCamel 06-28-2004 02:55 AM

I know my Delaware crew had a blast the 2 days we were there,

Thanks to "Casa de Fiske" for allowing us to pull up some carpet and sleep.

Thanks to Vosko for cooking for our hungry asses in the middle of the evening.

Thanks to all the participants, although I did not get to meet you all, I shook hands with at least 50-75 of you

And to the Staff of Rotorfest (Jay, Vosko, the DJ, the support crew and everyone else involved) a big thanks for putting on a great event.

For those of you that did make it, but were without a car... You have 12 months to get one ready, I know I will have one there that will turn a head or two next year https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

YukiRX7Aisha 06-28-2004 11:14 AM

You guys were all awesome and I had a great time! My 1st Rotorfest, and definitely won't be my last.

Amp, hope your CYM got home alright...that motor shake made me cringe...

I had a blast hanging with everybody here and there at random times, and the pre-parties at my place were the ****, we gotta do that on a non-RF weekend so we can really raise some hell in my boring, small little town.

Jay, Vosko, thanks SO much for organizing this, it was the most fun I've had in a LONNNNNNNNNG time...

...next year, either the FC or the FD comes up. ^_~

MsLadyRx7 06-28-2004 03:38 PM

JAY & VOSKO thanks so much this was my first fest and had a blast... a little burned but i'll take the pain knowing where i get it...lol i had and awesome time....

at this point everythin is pointin to electrical issues..

should get a chance to troubleshoot some more end of this week..

crossin fingers... dont need both fds down and out this season..

93 R1 06-28-2004 04:43 PM

Thanks guys.

It was great meeting Scott and Amy. Good to see everyone again. We had a blast. Between the adult beverages at applebys and pocket bike races we had a great weekend.

Amp...glad you made it home ok. I agree that it is some type of electrical issue. Possibly a coil?

Ed...Glad you made it man. Hopefully next years trip isn't so eventful https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

93 R1 06-28-2004 04:45 PM

BTW...if rx7girl was the one with black and white shorts on, with the black FD...she's hot. Jay, you definately missed out by not meeting her.

That was Ashley, I don't think she is on this forum.

Great show, good to meet some people and put faces to the SN's.

I had an absolute blast!!

Got to hang out all weekend with the Canadiens and Yuki (seriously bro I can't thank you enough for letting me n Matt crash!)

Prepartied with ArmyofOne who is SICK with the custom plans for his motor and a helluva guy.

Rotorfest was just incredible. It was my first one and I just remember getting there early and seeing all those 7's roll in! It was so great! Thanks to Jay and Vosko and anyone else involved in making this happen. I can't say enough good things about the show and the whole weekend!!

O.K. She had the black FD with white Volks.

But like I said...she was hot

just call'er sexyrx.... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

RX-Midget 06-28-2004 09:18 PM

Thanks Jay and the others that helped him for a great show.

I'd like to thank everyone for the award that I received. The day before I got snubbed at the MG nationals because I had a "Bastard car" and the voters were all MG purists, but you guys appreciated the work put into it, and I thank you again for your vote.

I would like to say that I really liked seeing the RX-3's and the RPU and if Rotorfest continues I'd hope that the Vintage Mazdas could have there own class, because they were very nice cars/truck. Next year I may be able to get a few more non-Mazda cars to show so we can have our own class. I hope this is not read the wrong way(I'm not being cocky), but honestly, the 3's were real nice and strong. They deserve there own class.

Anyhow, my humblest gratitude for the votes,

Brian
