our complaint about mazda is that they tell us to sell more parts, and then they either dont want to sell them (cosmo parts, comp parts), or they dont have them (98-02? 626 parts).

its so hard to get them to actually convince them do do stuff, its kinda wierd cause they really arent that big.

I have that shirt..its white w/ a red mazda emblem and says mazda on it. The guys at my "local" mazda dealership are rotary guys themselves. One salesman has had I believe 3 FBs and just sold one to another salesman..an '85 GSL-SE(that's now for sale again,lol)..also, one of the old service department guys worked with or for Peter Farrell a while ago..I could talk to them and see what they may be able to get from mazda...is there anything in particular you wanted to have from mazda for the show?

I do not know what kind of sponsorship your looking for but Mazdaspeed offers parts for your race car at prices close and sometimes more than 50% of list. Mechanics cannot get these prices.

All you have to do is either prove your building a car to race in the thext year or show you are racing and bam! your sponsored.

I would bet Jay that you haven't gotten your request into the right hands yet. MOst likely some ********** who is a miata fan is the guys who refused any involment. Really all they would have to do it show up with a booth. Pass out some t-shirts and stickers etc for the RX-8 A smart man would have seen the business opportunity there. They could have sold at least a dozen cars at the event most likely.

If these clowns don't get their **** together we RE enthusiats better start praying for some other company to emerge with a rotary platform. Time for a new car company if you ask me.
